Something Saturday: Book Reviews

I woke up feeling like absolute butt, so I spent half the day (literally) in the bed. So, I read. God, I’m so thankful for my Kindle. I don’t think I’d survive these bad days without it.

My Kind of Wonderful (Cedar Ridge, #2)My Kind of Wonderful by Jill Shalvis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The second book in the Cedar Ridge series.

Bailey is a cancer survivor. She was told as a teen that she wouldn’t survive but she beat the odds. She was so focused on not dying that when she is no longer dying, she fights against everyone, including herself, when it comes to love and help.

Hudson was so used to blaming himself for things that he blocked himself from accepting that he was in love.

It is part of a series, but you could read it alone and still be fine.

Migraines

So I have a migraine starting and I am going to bed. I woke up an hour earlier than planned on my day off… Getting called into work. I have the option to say no, but I do like my job, so I didn’t turn it down.
I got 13k in steps, so it’s not like I didn’t do anything. I just had planned on doing something else. Oh, comma, well.
