Man, oh man, that picture makes me hungry!! It’s part of Subway’s FreshFit. This particular one is for the kiddos. My kids LOVE the FreshFit food. I happen to like it, too, though I’m not a huge fan of the yogurt. I prefer baked chips. Also, I get a bottled water instead of a diet soda. The sugar substitutes are prone to give me migraines, XD.
When I was pregnant with Madi, and I was working, I would eat, literally every day, a grilled chicken sub, loaded with lettuce, cheese, mayo (so healthy, :lol:), cucumbers, mustard, pickles, and tomatoes. It was so delicious. I’d always get a foot-long, and have the second-half sitting in the back for me to snack on between customers. It was an extremely healthy thing for me to eat, and it kept me full through-out the whole shift. Not much did that.
Every time I go to Subway, I get either the grilled chicken or a basic club. They always include the same ingredients though: mustard, cheese, pickles, cucumbers, tomatoes and mayo. It’s not really a comfort thing, it’s just what I like. The kidlets get the roast beef kid-sized ones, with lettuce, cheese, and a little bit of mayo. Josh switches around often, so I never know what he’s going to get. He’s the unpredictable one, but I like that about him.
Dang it, now I’m craving a sub, :lol:. Maybe I can convince Kristen to watch my kids, if I run out and get her some too. It’s not that far away. It’s literally a five-minute walk from here. Not that I would walk, of course. Though, that would be the logical solution, though, wouldn’t it?
So, would you prefer your “bodadonk butt” and “cottage cheese thighs”, or would you rather have a yummy and delicious sub, made your way?
Posting this made me so hungry, and made me crave me some Subway, that I had Josh get some for us for dinner. Kids had raisins instead of apples, but we have apples at home, so that worked out. Josh got identical to what I did, except he chose the 3-meat trio, instead of chicken. All the toppings were the same though. They ended up being out of all baked chips, so I ended up with regular Cooler Ranch Doritos. They were still nummy, though 🙂
