This Week in Books

No reviews. They’re all Presents and Desires. They’re not the best that I’ve read, sadly :'(

Matched to a Billionaire (Happily Ever After, Inc #1)Matched to a Billionaire by Kat Cantrell

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

He bought a wife, so to speak. Arranged, through an agency.
She bought comfort and security for her family.
Love came, as expected.
And some pretty good sex. Lots of drama with it.
Semi-boring, though, which is unheard of for a Desire.

Basically, the only one I have right now.

I’m currently reading The Argentinian’s Demand (Harlequin Presents). We just got Monster Manual (D&D Core Rulebook), Dungeon Master’s Guide (D&D Core Rulebook), and Player’s Handbook (Dungeons & Dragons). I’m REALLY wanting to read some of RA Salvatore’s books (they’re on my TBR 2015 list).

I’m ready to really get some read-on, but first, I have to finish those that I borrowed from the library. Just because, you know, that’s how I am 😀

Taking Advantage

As I’ve said many times, from around May 18th through June 15th, I’ll be in Evansville, IN, visiting my parents, and testing myself. Okay, maybe I never mentioned the testing myself, but that’s a big point of the trip. The test? To see how well or how bad I can make it without Josh. It’s more of a personal test, more than anything. I need to know that I can make it if something happens to Josh and I with our life, or if something happens to Josh.

So, in preparation for that vacation/trip, I’m got Jack Johnson - iTunes Originals - Jack Johnson - iTunes Originals downloading 5 different sets of iPodcasts: Sherrilyn Kenyon, Harry Potter, RA Salvatore, Dungeons and Dragons, and Wizards of the Coast. With those five podcast categories, you can see my total and utter geekiness, but honestly, it works for me. I like my geekiness. On top of those, I also get the WP podcast that comes out weekly.

Since I’m gonna have to be on the computer for a bit while waiting for those to download, I’m working on my Writo de Mayo. It’s similar to NaNo, but in May, and more free with the goals. My goals for May is to write a minimum of 100 words a day, and a minimum of 5000 words for the month. I went a little light since I’ll be out of town for half of May. To make sure I reach that goal, I’m starting in the middle of April. My goal is to reach 5000 before my parents arrive, which should be May 16th. I’ve reached 215 so far.

In site related news, I removed Twitter Tools. Okay, not completely, since I love having Twitter update when I’ve updated my blog, but I’ve removed the option for it to post automatically every day. It was a lazy way of getting out of posting every day here. Honestly, I’ve got enough laziness in my life. I don’t want to do it here as well.
