Hey Honey, How Was Your Day?

I got up “bright and early”, meaning before the bus came but after Ethan had gotten onto the bus. That even meant dressed. Not showered or anything. I do that right before work because otherwise sometimes my hair gets gross.

So, I did the laundry. My goal was two loads. I accomplished the two loads. Well, they’re washed and dried. That’s important 😉

Wordless Wednesday

My brain is on overdrive today. Way on overdrive. I have no idea what’s going on. I think it’s one of the reasons I texted Josh with “Can I has bubble bath plz”,.

I have 24 tags to make by Sunday. Please kill me. I want to start my prosperity challenge, so I gotta do that (got the families made, just not moved in). I want to watch the two movies Josh got me (The Notebook [seen it on TV, not DVD] and Atonement [love me some Keira Knightly]). I want to get my DS charged up (that requires me to go down to the truck and grab it,). I’ve already been informed of my Christmas present from Josh, so I need my DS 😉

Please, SAVE ME FROM MYSELF. Oh well. Josh just picked me up some Honey Vanilla bath beads by Calgon. drool

Now, I think I need to work on those tags 😉

Hoosier Pie

  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. English walnuts
  • 1 stick butter (melted and cooled)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 lg. unbaked pie shell

  1. Add eggs and butter, mix together well.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, pour into pie shell.
  3. Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

I play up with the chocolate chips and use white chips, or butterscotch, or peanut butter. I also usually use pecans, since I space out and grab them instead of the walnuts,.
