A Nice Day Off

Untitled

Josh is on vacation this week. Lucky bastard and all that 😀 Today, I was finally off. I like my job, but damn, I was ready for a day to sleep in.

Not that THAT happened! We had to drop the truck off at the dealer because my battery gauge kept jumping around. It’s something we should watch but the part to fix alone is almost $600, and since it isn’t HURTING the truck while it’s in use, we don’t have to fix it. Same with the MAF sensor and the ABS brain 😆 Truck will be getting upgraded in a couple years, and according to Kelly Blue Book, is only worth a little over $4k, with a trade-in value barely over $2k 😆

Oh Well

I’m not going to hit 10k today. But I’m not going to stress on it. I accomplished A LOT today and that’s truly what matters.

I had to do some grocery shopping, but before I did, I made sure I unloaded the dishes from the dishwasher. They were ran the night before, so they were clean. WOO!

It’s All a Mystery

Untitled

Looking under the truck, she notices a spot.

A spot of wet under a vehicle is never a good thing.

It could be condensation.

It could be oil.

It could be left from another vehicle.

There is no need to panic.

Just take in a breath and release it.

There is no real mystery. It is easy to solve.

I’m Gonna Write You a Letter

Yesterday, your pet/baby/inanimate object could read your post. Today, they can write back. Write a post from their point of view (or just pick any non-verbal creature/object).

I have no idea what my Kindle Fire would respond back with. Most likely “God damn it, stop using me so often. Give me a break.

Or maybe “Use me more often.” I do tend to leave it on the bed in the mornings. But if I bring it into the living room, nothing, and I mean nothing, will actually get done if I had my Kindle in the living room with me.

My truck would tell me “See, I told you not to worry. It was just a hiccup. The wind went in the wrong pipe”. The truck got her code scanned, and it was my MAF sensor. It happens when wind gets up weird in the engine or whatever. Happens more often than it should but it doesn’t hurt the truck (confirmed by a couple different mechanics). That’s good news.
