The connection to place, to the land, the wind, the sun, stars, the moon… it sounds romantic, but it’s true – the visceral experience of motion, of moving through time on some amazing machine – a few cars touch on it, but not too many compared to motorcycles. I always felt that any motorcycle journey was special.
Big play of catch-up, but hey, that’s what life is all about
All shots taken with a Canon Rebel XS, Sony Cybershot DSCW120, Kodak EasyShare C195, or the HTC Inspire 4G Android Phone. More can be found on my Flickr account. You can also follow my P365 blog, where I attempt to post pictures at least once a week!
This week was full of heat, swimming lessons, and fun. I think, 😀
Ethan finished Level 2 with flying colors. He needs to practice a bit more on front crawl and back-stroke, but they said he was a joy to have, and is a strong swimmer. That’s good for me! Monday, Madi starts Level 3!! 😀

Camp NaNoWriMo and I’m so behind! 4897 current count right now. I’m supposed to be at 5k last night. 6666 by the end of tonight. I’m not sure if I’m going to hit it, but I’m sure going to try
I’m going to do it despite the sunburn.
Madison has the most gorgeous tan. She tans so easily that she’ll never have to look into spray tan. She thankfully inherited her daddy’s skin stuff with that. Me? I burn when I just look at the sun. Okay, maybe not that badly, but I swear, it’s never a pretty sight when I have been in the sun too long. Even with sunscreen, I turn into a big old red lobster. EWW! Just not pretty at all.
