Catching a Moment

I had the worst dream the night before last.

I dreamt that Josh was cheating on me, with a coworker.

No, it isn’t even a fear of mine.

Nothing with him has changed, and his paychecks confirm all the hours that he works.

Plus, he will show me his phone, any time I ask. I know his passwords (he sort of knows mine, as well).

I don’t know why I had the dream. But it left me feeling very clingy and emotional yesterday.

Thankfully, he understood, and let me cuddle whenever I wanted.

I’m glad it happened the night before his day off.

Julie and Sarah

And so we talked all night about the rest of our lives
Where we’re gonna be when we turn 25
I keep thinking times will never change
Keep on thinking things will always be the same
But when we leave this year we won’t be coming back
No more hanging out cause we’re on a different track
And if you got something that you need to say
You better say it right now
‘Cause you don’t have another day
‘Cause we’re moving on and We can’t slow it down
These memories are playing like a film without sound and I
I keep on thinking of the night in June
I didn’t know much of love but it came too soon
And there was me and you when we got real blue
We’d stay at home talking on the telephone with me
We’d got so excited and get so scared
Laughing at ourselves thinking life’s not fair
And this is how it feels…

As we go on, we remember
All the times we had together
But as our lives change
Come whatever,
We will still be friends forever

And so if we get the big jobs and we make the big money
When we look back now will our jokes still be funny?
Will we still remember everything what we learned in school
Still be trying to break every single rule?
Will little brainy Bobby be the stockbroker man?
Can Heather find a job that won’t interfere with her tan?
I keep – keep thinking that it’s not goodbye
Keep on thinking it’s our time to fly
And this is how it feels…

Repeat Chorus:

La la la la yeah yeah yeah la la la la…
(We will still be friends forever)

Will we think about tomorrow like we think about now
Can we survive it out there?
Can we make it somehow?
I guess I thought that this would never end
And suddenly it’s like we’re women and men
Will the past be a shadow that will follow us around
Will these memories fade when I leave this town?
I keep, keep thinking that it’s not goodbye
Keep on thinking it’s our time to fly

Repeat Chorus (3x)
(On the 3rd chorus blens with:
La la la la…)

Hear Me Roar

I love music. I love it! I’m currently listening to “Roar” by Katy Perry, and I just love everything about the song! I don’t know if she uses an excellent fender supersonic but the sound in the video is amazing. She looks amazing!

The message behind the song, though, is truly what gets me! It’s inspiring. It’s beautiful. It’s about being strong without being overbearing. It’s, I know I keep saying it, but it’s wonderful!

I Need a Vacation

Sunday, I went to Lawrence. We spent time together as a family, and it was nice. But gah, the kids. They drove me nuts. Absolutely nuts. I want a vacation away from my family. At least my kids. If it wasn’t so humid, I’d be checking out some Alabama hotels. Something, anything, to get away.

I love my family, but I need a break. I’d love to check out Alabama, though. I’ve heard that it’s a pretty state, that there are some great things to see.
