Goals for November

I have goals! Yes I do!

I’m starting with small goals. The smaller goals mean they’re easier to achieve!

Goal #1: Start Shift Shop

I start on November 04 (Monday). My goal is to completely finish it!

Goal #2: Write 50k Words

I’m doing NaNoWriMo. I need to write those words!

Goal #3: Share My Workouts

I went to a singular instagram account so that I could do this more efficiently.

Goal 4: Read at least 5 Books

I only put it that low simply because I should be focusing on writing and NOT my reading.

Goal 5: Get SLEEP!

Yeah, I haven’t been sleeping well. AT ALL!

Books Read in October 2018

Here are the books that I read in October. The list is smaller but I switched positions fully in October, so I’m struggling to get used to it!

    • Saddled and Spurred (Blacktop Cowboys, #2)
    • Wrangled and Tangled (Blacktop Cowboys, #3)
    • One Night Rodeo (Blacktop Cowboys, #4)
    • Turn and Burn (Blacktop Cowboys, #5)
    • Hillbilly Rockstar (Blacktop Cowboys, #6)
    • Wrapped and Strapped (Blacktop Cowboys, #7)
    • Hang Tough (Blacktop Cowboys #8)
    • Racked and Stacked (Blacktop Cowboys, #9)
    • Bound (Mastered, #1)
    • Unwound (Mastered, #2)
    • Unraveled (Mastered, #3)
    • Caged (Mastered, #4)

I told you it was short and sweet!

Books Read: July 2018

I liked seeing how many books I read in June, so I thought that I would do it again for July!

  1. The Falcon’s Full House (Nocturne Falls Universe)
  2. The Vampire’s Unintended Alien (Nocturne Falls Universe)
  3. You’ve Got Aliens (Alienn, Arkansas #1)
  4. How to Lose an Alien in 10 Days (Alienn, Arkansas #2)
  5. My Big Fat Alien Wedding (Alienn, Arkansas #3)
  6. Her Mistletoe Mistake (Holiday Heroes, #2)
  7. Her Halloween Blind Date (Holiday Heroes Book 1)

  10. Walk the Line (Man of the Month #12)
  11. Biker (Bad Boys in Big Trouble #1)
  12. Bodyguard (Bad Boys in Big Trouble #3)
  13. Bomb Tech (Bad Boys in Big Trouble #4)
  14. Bounty Hunter (Bad Boys in Big Trouble #5)
  15. The Shaman Charms The Shifter: A Nocturne Falls Universe story (Nocturne Falls Universe)
  16. Bandit (Bad Boys in Big Trouble #6)
  17. White Heat (Firefighter #1)
  18. Blue Flame (Firefighter #2)
  19. Seeing Red (Firefighter #3)
  20. Fashionably Dead (Hot Damned #1)
  21. Fashionably Dead Down Under (Hot Damned #2)

Wow. I read 5 less books in July than I did in June, but I still read a crapton of books. If I average about 15 books normally a month (because summer means slower, I guess?), that means I should be reading 180 books a year.  Good thing I have my goal set to 200 for the year on Goodreads! I’m currently at 129. That’s an average of 18 books a month! That’s absolutely crazy!

In a good way! I guess you can see why I’m a Ravenclaw! ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

WALK THE LINE by J. Kenner

WTL_RELEASE BLITZWalk the Line, an all-new sexy standalone by #1 New York Times bestselling author J. Kenner, is LIVE!

12 - December - Walk The Line

Elena is too young for me, not to mention she’s my boss’s daughter and my babysitter.

That’s beyond complicated. And I’m not even looking for a relationship—but I can’t deny the attraction that sizzles between us.

I need to ignore it. A single dad, all I want is to take care of my little girl, do my job, and enjoy my friends. Anything more is asking for complications I can’t afford. Asking to be hurt again.

Trouble is, I want her, too. And when our flirty sparks turn to flames, I give in to temptation. Our secret fling is scorching hot, better than I’d even imagined.

But secrets get out, and I could lose my job and my reputation.

And I’m starting to realize she’s the one thing I’m not willing to lose.

About J. Kenner

J. Kenner (aka Julie Kenner) is the New York Times, USA Today, Publishers Weekly, Wall Street Journal and #1 International bestselling author of over seventy novels, novellas and short stories in a variety of genres.

Though known primarily for her award-winning and international bestselling erotic romances (including the Stark and Most Wanted series) that have reached as high as #2 on the New York Times bestseller list, JK has been writing full time for over a decade in a variety of genres including paranormal and contemporary romance, “chicklit” suspense, urban fantasy, and paranormal mommy lit.

JK has been praised by Publishers Weekly as an author with a “flair for dialogue and eccentric characterizations” and by RT Bookclub for having “cornered the market on sinfully attractive, dominant antiheroes and the women who swoon for them.” A five time finalist for Romance Writers of America’s prestigious RITA award, JK took home the first RITA trophy awarded in the category of erotic romance in 2014 for her novel, Claim Me (book 2 of her Stark Trilogy). Her Demon Hunting Soccer Mom series (as Julie Kenner) is currently in development with AwesomenessTV/Awestruck.

Her books have sold over three million copies and are published in over twenty languages.

In her previous career as an attorney, JK worked as a clerk on the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and practiced primarily civil, entertainment and First Amendment litigation in Los Angeles and Irvine, California, as well as in Austin, Texas. She currently lives in Central Texas, with her husband, two daughters, and two rather spastic cats.
