Yesterday, she turned 14. It’s not a big exciting birthday like 13 or 16, but here in Kansas, it is a little more exciting than most. Now she can get her permit and she’ll be allowed to drive to work and school :O CRAZY right?
Josh and I are both on vacation. It was nice until today. We won’t discuss today. Let’s just say that stress and us means it gets loud in this apartment. Five minutes later, it’s full of laughter. Maybe we’re all a little bipolar (I say that as a bipolar person).
Yeah, I have a good excuse for why my feet hurt 😛 You can see why!
I cannot speak of how much I adore this little girl.
She’s too sweet, too cute.
She was so patient waiting for her brother to do his swimming lessons.

Starting today, I’m also going to be sharing my Photo a Day challenge pictures on the blog 😀
Figured it work well 😀
pool gets hot, when you’re just sitting in the sun.
There has been some talk about swimming pool fences lately. Kids are drowning in unprotected pools.
I hear “watch your kid” but you know what? Anything can happen in a split second when you turn your head. It doesn’t matter how diligent as a parent you are. Everyone misses something. We’re not robots.
All we can do is prepare for the worst, and hope for the best. That’s our motto here. I like that. It fits.
