Review of Senseo Coffee Maker

Finally, the review. I’ve been holding off on this for awhile, and now is time to publish.

First, it looks like I’m a little low on water, so it’s time to fill it up. The best thing about this lovely single-serve coffee maker is how easy it is to use.

The fill-lines are easy to distinguish, whether there’s water in the container or not. For best results, it’s wiser to fill to the top fill-line, but, as you can see, there are lines for 2 cups or 1 cup, as well.

The pods are easy as pie to use. Just choose how many you want (one or two), and put them in. I use one for my coffee, because I don’t like mine super strong. Too much and I get super crazy jittery.

Make sure your cup is under the spout. You don’t want to make that mistake,. Then, you just hit the power button. Once it stops flashing, you hit the button of your coffee selecton: 1 cup or 2 cups. I do one-cup twice, because, like I said, I don’t like mine too strong. 🙂

Look how frothy that turns out! I love it!! As you can see, it’s only half-filled, so I just hit one-cup again, and it uses the same pod to make me some more. It makes it just the strength that I need.

And there you have a perfect cup of coffee!! Just add whatever you want to make it drinkable for you, and enjoy!!

The Senseo products are just amazing. They’re made by Phillips, which is a very reliable brand, IMO. The prices are amazing. The Senseo pods are actually almost $2 cheaper than the Folger’s pods, which is usually my brand of choice. They’ve got a wide-selection of choices when it comes to flavors. They even have tea pods. I’ve only seen them on the Senseo site, but I like that idea.

I got my single-serve coffee maker as part of a package deal through Senseo that they have, where I paid $15 for shipping, and I got the maker ($70), 1 bag of 16 pods (~ $4), and a packet of $20 off coupons for friends, along with a couple of other coupons. Worth trying to find, honestly. Even if you don’t like the maker, you’re only out $15, and not even really that, if you tried selling it to someone else.

I just found that The Domestic Diva is having a contest to win one of the coffee makers I’m raving about, so check it out!!
