Parenting is hard.
I feel like a crap parent because of how my daughter is acting.
Also, a bit of a rant on other parents and society as a whole.
Halloween is rapidly approaching.
It happens on Monday.
NaNoWriMo starts on Tuesday 
Life is going to get interesting in this family. Scouts, NaNo, sprinting hosting (for me), Girl Scout cookie sales. Fun, oh fun! Wish us LOTS of luck! We’re going to SO need it!!

I caught a bumblebee but it didn’t catch me!
While we’re doing the Christmas shopping, I’m honestly glad I’m not having to hunt down miscellaneous extras, like a xbox 360 hdmi cable. Why? Because while I like the new Kinect, I refuse to spend that much on a system 
Unless it’s something that has what I really want to play. So, I’m with the Wii system 
.
Speaking of the Wii, my mom told me one of the presents she got the kids:

The future, jobs, life, all that, are uncertain. Heck, my parents just canceled their whole life insurance to get some term insurance. They’re saving like $2-3K a year or something like that (I don’t know exactly how much). They’ll still receive a similar amount in death benefits or whatever, but it’ll be a lot less. I think Dad said one is worth $150K and the other is $200K. Nowhere near what Josh is (5x his annual salary or $480K, depending on how he dies, I think it was), but it’s something one of them (or my sister and I, if they both go at the same time) can use to help with funeral costs, plus any similar expenses.
Are you prepared for your future? Josh and I are going to be looking into life insurance for me through State Farm in the coming months.
