Things are going okay here. Kids don’t have school for the rest of the school year. At least not in-school school. The district is working on the online aspect. This is good, because if they can figure this out now, they’ll be able to figure it out later when it comes to snow days. Then they won’t have to add extra days anymore. Maybe?
I believe I chose the best word ever for 2012. I chose Acceptance/Accept in 2011, and it really made a big impact in my life. I was able to let things go easier. I was able to build healthier, happier relationships. I just accepted what I could change and did, and what I couldn’t, and just walked away. Amazing how well that worked! It got to the point where I didn’t even realize that I was.
So, I chose MEMORY for 2012. Well, Sunday, we went out. We went to several places. I left little markers for myself as I went on Foursquare. My kids probably have a few memories of me picking on them to stay behind Daddy, and pulling them back, but it was to keep them safe. Madison nearly walking into a pole once, and Ethan almost into a display helped them understand.
I’m never looking at insurance quotes online. I don’t care how cheap they are that way, no way, no how! Not even online life insurance!
Because, after three years, I still get random calls from Allstate going “Do you want such and such insurance?”. Hell to the nah! I love my State Farm! I love my State Farm agent! State Farm has never failed us, and always has our back! Trust me on this one!
So, while I will continue to buy things online (most recent being a pre-order of Sims 3: Ambitions!!), I will not be ordering my insurance that way.
