Things are going okay here. Kids don’t have school for the rest of the school year. At least not in-school school. The district is working on the online aspect. This is good, because if they can figure this out now, they’ll be able to figure it out later when it comes to snow days. Then they won’t have to add extra days anymore. Maybe?
First, I want to say that we did make it back safe and sound from Indiana. I was cool, calm and collected when we left, until Josh mentioned my dad. Then the waterworks began. I think that just proves that I’m a total Daddy’s girl. Which is fine, considering it isFather’s Day today!
Happy Father’s Day to the most amazing father I have ever known: my own. While I was in Indiana, I found out, without him ever saying it directly to me, how much my father truly loved me.
Also, Happy Father’s Day to the most amazing father I could have ever asked to have for my kids! Josh, I adore how wonderful you are with our kids! I love you!
Now, onto the pictures!
Seriously, the sexiest pair of shoes I have ever owned! Ariat Fatbaby 😀
My sister texted me earlier, telling me that she was taking my nephew, Hunter, to the Emergency Room. He was congested, had a slight temp (99F), and was puking up what he was eating. Thankfully, she doesn’t have Wholesale Insurance for him, so she was able to be seen fast. It could also be the fact that he’s only three months old. He was sent home with the advice to use a humidifier because he’s too young for decongestants. Strange how quickly things on that front change, since when Madi was that age, they could very well have prescribed them for her.
It worried me though because my friend, Michelle’s son, Thomas, also ended up the hospital this week, because of Rotavirus. Icky stuff, that. He’s only 6 weeks old, so it was even more urgent. He seems to be doing well, now as well, but it was a bit dicey there for awhile. Last I heard, he was still in the NICU, but he was pissed that they were limiting his intake of formula, which I think is a good sign.
My gorgeous nephew, Hunter. Isn’t he just the sweetest thing you’ve ever seen?
Birth Date: September 17, 2009
Time of Birth: 2:35 PM
Weight: 7 lbs 11 oz
He’s the latest grandbaby (out of three) but is the “middle”, when it comes to size and all that. He’s only an inch longer than Madi was, but a good 2 pounds on her. He’s 2 inches or so smaller than what Ethan was, and 15 ounces smaller.
