Be it a good one!
Today, we finally got me a Bluetooth keyboard. It was needed for NaNoWriMo writing on the go. I can use it while we’re in the car, when I’m at work (on breaks, of course) . It’s going to make my life just a little easier. I’m actually writing with it right now!
Today, I finished my last shift before my vacation. I’m proud of myself for working as much as I have. I need the break though. I’m having some major shoulder pain from the repetitive motions. I’m still planning on going to the gym and all that jazz, including strength exercises for the shoulder, but that’s all I’ll be doing with it.
Josh is going to be on vacation too! I’m sure we’ll end up wanting to kill each other by the end of the week, but that’s one of the reasons I’m thankful we have the gym for me to go to (or Josh, 😉 ) . It gives us a small break from each other!
Seriously slow going. The word count is not going up … at all. This year, NaNoWriMo is definitely kicking my butt. And it really sucks. It sucks really hard!
I’m hoping that using the stickers will encourage me to actually write now. SO far, they seem to be laughing at me and my lack of words. Really and truly just laughing at me!
I’m supposed to be writing, but instead I’m not. 186 words written and my head is throbbing, my throat hurts, and my feet are aching. I work tomorrow and then have 2 days off (Tuesday and Wednesday) 😀
For today’s prompt, write about your past in relationship to creative expression. What are your earliest memories of being creative? Describe some great opportunities or missed opportunities for creative expression? What do you think helped or hindered you from being creative? Do you have creative people in your family? How have they inspired you? These are general questions. Write about the topic and see where it leads you. Happy journaling.
Instead I’m just going to show what I’ve been doing for prep with NaNoWriMo
