I do not know the Spohrs. Honestly, before I heard about the passing of Maddie on April 7, 2009, I’d never heard of them. But, as soon as I heard, I felt for them. My parents lost my brother, Joshua [yes, the same name as my husband], at 7 weeks, due to many complications. To this day, mentioning my brother brings a tear to my mom’s eye, and he would be 22 this October. That is the reason I’ve gone purple on my blog, my twitter page, and my Plurk page. TweetDeck is also in purple, along with my Trillian Astra theme, and even my desktop [minus the background page].
I’m seriously behind on everything I’m supposed to be doing.
I’m a lazy douche, to steal a phrase from Lotus, so I’m not getting anywhere with it. I hate not being motivated but with the fluctuating temps, it’s hard not to be that way.
We’re looking at 70s on Thursday, but its supposed to plummet again next week. They’re talking snow again a week from our 70s. They’re saying flu season is supposed to peak in April. Usually it’s in like January/February. Now it’s well into spring. That’s scary.
My kids are really suffering from it. Madi will get over one cold and another will come along. Ethan won’t even be fully over one before he’s struck down by a new one. It’s getting insane. We just bought 3 boxes of Kleenex’s a week ago. I need to get more because I’m running low. I had to buy a jar of Vaseline for under my nose because of all the blowing.
Winter? Kiss my ass and fuck off!
Anyone else feeling this way?
Why Gone with the Wind?
I love the Civil War time period, and romance, so this was right up my alley 🙂
I watched it on TV first, and I then checked out the book, and I’ve been hooked since. I was about 13 or so at the time.
Why Mamma Mia?
Sex and the City was no longer showing 😉
That’s actually the reason we saw it. As for getting so hooked? I guess I’m a closet ABBA fan, 😆
Because I’ve made some really great friends there.
Because it’s a great outlet for getting out frustrations.
Why reread a book?
cheap and easy entertainment. Plus, you catch stuff you missed on the first read 🙂
Why did you stop writing?
I got sick. After that, the desire to finish just kind of died with it, I guess.
Why an iud?
Last for five years, and low hormones, so it helps balance those out without killing everything. Each month was killer on me, and not in a good way, courtesy of anemia. The IUD killed the period.
Why water shots?
I blame Lotus, and her tutorials on taking good shots of falling water 🙂
Josh and I were looking at computer desks for the laptop yesterday at Walmart. I found one that I absolutely adored. Well, they have little shelves that make me wish and wish for another printer that was all mine. One where I don’t have to sit on the floor and hook it up through the USB.
Well, Lotus wrote a review on the Epson Artisan 800 Wireless Photo All-in-One Printer, and holy crap on a cracker! I wants. First off, it’s just so pretty. And the examples that she showed? I wants!! The biggest thing for me is that it’s WiFi, which means I can print from the laptop without having to hook it up to the laptop. It’s also got the card-readers, so I can print straight from the card, if I want. 🙂
I found out that Blissfully Domestic was giving away a free Epson Artisan 800, and I had to enroll in that drawing. I’m hoping no one else does, so that I have a shot, but if not, I’ve at least done everything I can to try and get a shot.
