Today, we finally got me a Bluetooth keyboard. It was needed for NaNoWriMo writing on the go. I can use it while we’re in the car, when I’m at work (on breaks, of course) . It’s going to make my life just a little easier. I’m actually writing with it right now!
Today, I finished my last shift before my vacation. I’m proud of myself for working as much as I have. I need the break though. I’m having some major shoulder pain from the repetitive motions. I’m still planning on going to the gym and all that jazz, including strength exercises for the shoulder, but that’s all I’ll be doing with it.
Josh is going to be on vacation too! I’m sure we’ll end up wanting to kill each other by the end of the week, but that’s one of the reasons I’m thankful we have the gym for me to go to (or Josh, 😉 ) . It gives us a small break from each other!
One thing I’ve learned growing up, I’ll never be a concert pianist. While I can mentally be doing thirty thousand things at once, I can’t physically do more than one thing. Well, I can walk, talk, and chew gum, but I can’t use both feet while driving at the same time. So, that means no piano. Yay! No researching shop pedal board prices!
Josh keeps telling me that he’ll teach me how to drive a stick, but I know it won’t work out. Same as if I decided to try piano. That, and where would we put a piano in this tiny apartment. Nowhere, that’s where.
I went a different route than what everyone else seemed to be going. I didn’t want pictures of mine and my husband’s hands. I wanted hands that I see all day. I wanted something that said something. My hands say something whenever they’re on the keyboard of my laptop. I like that.
