Can you believe that it’s the first of July already? Happy Canada Day to all my Canadian friends and readers!! Three days until The Fourth here in the US! Big holiday for us. According to Sarah Palin, it’s the day we won our guns from the British.

Being serious, it’s the day we declared our independence from Britain.
BTW, Clinton shows up in that video, and dang it, I miss him as president!!

02: Josh was off, and we got Madi’s hair cut! She lost at least half her length but it completely suits her!
03: Clouds rolled in and it so didn’t look like it was going to be a very good day. Got pretty cloud pictures though, so worth it, I think!
04: Happy 4th. We didn’t see the fireworks at the lake but the kids enjoyed the day anyway, I think.
05: Josh had the day off again, and we enjoyed a lazy day at home. Very nice to be able to do that sometimes.
06: Did some laundry, and since I figured out “bulb” on the 4th with fireworks, tried it with the water.
07: Another shot of water, and I’m so excited, since I used MANUAL focus on it!
08: I played around with the settings on the camera, really using manual mode. I even got an over-exposed shot! I was excited!
