The Worst of the Day: (a) Dryer shorted out; (b) Truck sprung a new leak; (c) Madison got lice UGH! The Best of the Day: I didn’t kill anyone. I had the dishes done before maintenance showed up to check and make sure the circuit breaker wasn’t what was causing the problem with the dryer.
I cleaned and organized my dresser area, and the bathroom. I’m eventually going to make a full-move to the dresser with my make-up and stuff, especially after the computer tower is OFFmy dresser. Oh, and once I get a mirror for above the dresser!
I’ve been using a lot of wall mounted bathroom vanity in my Sims 3 games. I’m really loving them, and wondering how much fun they would be to use them in my house, when we actually get one. I love looking at bathroom vanities, accessories, and the like, when I’m at Lowe’s or Home Depot. I just can’t seem to get enough. I know what style of shower I want. And the bathtub. Yeah, I want them separate. I want to be able to soak in a hot bath with jets and bubbles, and let Josh have the option to take a shower too. That will mean we need a really good water heater. I’m okay with that.
I’ve got the colors chosen too: pale tan and a seafoam blue/green. Total beach theme. You know, just like the rest of the house is planned to be. I’ll need lots of shelves for storage and decor too!
Yeah, that’s where I spent a nice chunk of yesterday. I was just completely and totally out of it. I had to drive the truck back, and y’all know how much I love driving that truck. I didn’t want to drive. I didn’t feel comfortable driving. I’m so glad that Josh kept the kids’ seats in the car, so that meant that Ethan rode home in the car, and not with me. Made concentrating a lot easier to do.
I didn’t do nothing though! I did fold laundry 🙂 Madison and Ethan both have plenty of clean clothes now. 😛
I also was able to stand up for long enough to fix dinner. Everyone enjoyed it. Everyone but me. 🙁 Figures, right?
Last night, I carb’d up when I took my sleep meds. I finished off a bowl of potatoes. Even with major storms rolling through and our weather radio going off every half-hour/hour, I actually woke up, easily. I also seem to have more energy. I still have a bit of a headache but I’m functioning. I’m not sure if it’s because the weather finally leveled out or if it was the carbo-loading.
When we get a house, I have a feeling some of our furniture is going to require casters. Or something. I don’t really know why. I just know that none of us will be completely happy with how the furniture is arranged for long,
How often do you rearrange your furniture? I would love to redo mine at least once a season,
