We made a choice that we were going to not just stay at home this vacation. So, when my boss found me a good deal for TWO DAYS of passes for Worlds of Fun, we took advantage! Madi got to take a friend because we weren’t able to do anything for her birthday!
Well, I haven’t blogged in awhile. No real reason. Just haven’t.
This past week has been INSANEly busy!
Monday: I worked a morning shift. That’s not that big of a deal. It was followed by a Boy Scout EARLY function, but it’s okay. Josh was off this week.

When you make friends like these, you learn to hold on to them tightly. These three have made my life so full and amazing. I feel blessed every day, knowing I have someone at my back, both at work, and in life.
Nelina pushes me in ways I never thought I could go!
Carol Ann keeps me in stitches and never lets me take myself too seriously.
Danielle was my first true friend at work. Without her, I’d have no one else!
The time of year is upon me when I need to choose my “word of the year“. I’ve been doing it for a few years, and the one year it worked well for me was when I chose “happy”. I almost went with it again for 2018, but instead I chose “FOCUS“.
I’m excited for this year!
My main direction for “FOCUS” will be the second definition. directed attention. I think it’s going to be a good year. I’m ready for something big and new to happen. I know that I am going to have to make it happen, but I am ready to FOCUS on me, on life, on all the things!
Goals for 2018:
- Focus and finish a fitness program
- Drink me some Shakeology
- Get back to the Gym
- Make memories
- Share love
- Be present
- Write the novel I originally started planning for November
- Win NaNoWriMo 2018
Have you chosen a word? How are you going to use it to help you set your goals for 2018?
I saw Spiderman Homecoming and it was perfect!
I’m not a huge super hero movie fan, but I do love the Spider-Man franchise!
Also, I got to spend time with a great friend!
