Starting December Off Right

Vivoactive 3 with a custom face

I jokingly told my mom that if she wanted to give me a present for my birthday, I would “accept” a Garmin Forerunner 45S. She took me seriously and asked when I wanted the check, then or for my birthday.

Friends told me NO and that I can wait until my birthday. I argued with them. Mom even said she’d rather do it earlier. So, I got the check a couple weeks ago, and I ordered my watch on Thanksgiving. I should have waited until Black Friday, because it dropped in price.

But instead of getting the Forerunner, I got myself the Vivoactive 3, no music (I have my phone with me all the time, so I don’t need that. Plus, I get bored with music too easily. It would be a wasted aspect).

I’m already a huge fan of Garmin, as this will officially be my 3rd device, and I’m ready to try out MORE of the stats and fun stuff!

Recent Layouts

I finished these awhile ago, but I’m just now getting to upload them. I still need to upload them other places, and I still have a couple layouts to do for Kentucky, but I love how the layouts themselves turned out!

If you want to see more pictures, check out the video I made:

We made a choice that we were going to not just stay at home this vacation. So, when my boss found me a good deal for TWO DAYS of passes for Worlds of Fun, we took advantage! Madi got to take a friend because we weren’t able to do anything for her birthday!

An Update on Me

Well, I haven’t blogged in awhile. No real reason. Just haven’t.

This past week has been INSANEly busy!

Monday: I worked a morning shift. That’s not that big of a deal. It was followed by a Boy Scout EARLY function, but it’s okay. Josh was off this week.

Journaling:

When you make friends like these, you learn to hold on to them tightly. These three have made my life so full and amazing. I feel blessed every day, knowing I have someone at my back, both at work, and in life.
Nelina pushes me in ways I never thought I could go!
Carol Ann keeps me in stitches and never lets me take myself too seriously.
Danielle was my first true friend at work. Without her, I’d have no one else!
