032/365 {2011} - Cuddles in Bed

Cuddle up and keep warm. Whether you are using a mexican blanket or something fuzzy and soft, it doesn’t matter. Cuddle up. Take advantage of some cold weather and enjoy some shared warmth with someone you love.

Lately, I haven’t been cuddling. He’s been out before I can get a chance Sad smile

Oh well, I’m saving them up for when he’s off. He has the weekend of Ethan’s birthday off. Yeah, that’s a month away (literally). He was supposed to have a FIVE-DAY weekend but that fell through. He was mandatoried both today and tomorrow Sad smile

Bye, Mr. Sweetheart.

Mr. Loud

Mr. Amazing

Mr. Sid

May your suffering be at an end, and may those that loved you find the peace they need as well.

Also, give Kathy a big purr and Meow and tell her everyone here misses her like crazy.

• If the whole world were listening to you right now, what would you say?

Work together. Without other people, none of us could survive.

• If you could meet anyone on this earth, who would it be?

I’m not really sure. I could get all sentimental or all smarty pants, but I honestly would like to meet one of the founding fathers. I’d like to get their opinion on how the nation is currently run, and see what sort of insight they could offer.

• You just got a free plane ticket to anywhere. You have to depart right now. Where are you going to go?

To anywhere? Just me? I’m flying to Indiana. Nice little break with the ones I love.
With Josh? We’re off to Greece!!
The kids, too? Let’s go to Florida! :D

• What do you think about most?

I don’t know. Reading, I think. New books and things :D

• You have the opportunity to spend a romantic night with the music celebrity of your choice – who would it be?

No one, actually. I don’t really want to spend a romantic night with anyone who’s in music, or famous.

I believe I chose the best word ever for 2012. I chose Acceptance/Accept in 2011, and it really made a big impact in my life. I was able to let things go easier. I was able to build healthier, happier relationships. I just accepted what I could change and did, and what I couldn’t, and just walked away. Amazing how well that worked! It got to the point where I didn’t even realize that I was.

So, I chose MEMORY for 2012. Well, Sunday, we went out. We went to several places. I left little markers for myself as I went on Foursquare. My kids probably have a few memories of me picking on them to stay behind Daddy, and pulling them back, but it was to keep them safe. Madison nearly walking into a pole once, and Ethan almost into a display helped them understand.

I stole this from Zoot, who stole it from someone else. We’re just a big bunch of thieves in the blogging world (and I mean that with a sense of humor, not as an actual statement).

  1. What did you do in 2011 that you’d never done before?
I became part of the Girl Scouts. Like full on part of. I’m officially a leader, and I’m planning on continuing :O
  2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Not really, no. I don’t think I did.
  3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My best friend Julie, December 15, to little Miss Abigail.
  4. Did anyone close to you die?
My FIL had to put down Molly, but I’m not sure if that counts.
  5. What countries did you visit?
I barely left the county let alone the country.
  6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
    More self-confidence, I think.
