Welcome to January

So, I completely failed on the daily blogging. At like day 3 or 4.

No excuses. I just didn’t feel like opening any device to upload a post.

Heck, I’m not even sure I want to do it right now.

My schedule at work is all up in the air after Saturday, and I’m not a fan of that. I’m also really not a fan of getting used to a schedule, and knowing that it’s going to be changed. Which is will be.

The rest of January should be pretty quiet. February is going to be the month of insanity!

The End of Swim Lessons

Madison didn't but this is such a change from last year! #swimlessons

Madison didn’t pass Level 4, but the child can swim. She’s so much more confident this year than she was last year. Cold weather making for cold water really threw her off, though!

Fail! But I have Layouts!

Okay, so I was going to do this great post on the things I’d love to get for Mother’s Day (but isn’t going to happen) and well, the post screwed up, and instead of taking the time to fix it, I just deleted it. Something with how WordPress uses their cloud and what-not (and yes, I’m self-hosted, so it shouldn’t matter but I use Jetpack for simplicity and that’s one of it’s borked areas), and well, the images all FAILED. I could have fixed it but I still would have dealt with the same issues no matter what 🙁 But, I did also get some Project Life related layouts completed! So, my day wasn’t a complete was of space and a total fail, but I still hate that the stuff didn’t work! I had some GREAT electronical items to share. A Canon T4 *giggles*, a digital camcorder (that was less than $300), and even a GoPro that suited my needs!

Killing the Drive

I went to bed the night before, all excited to write again. I woke up, and bleh, I couldn’t even force myself to open up the program to do it. 🙁
Today was the same way. What the hell is the deal? *grumble*
I’m hoping to write some more this weekend. We’ll see how that goes. Trying to convince my husband that going to Lawrence Sunday is a good idea, for my Mother’s Day gift, 😉

Pillows and Things

The last few nights (well, since Friday), I’ve been sleeping with my foot propped up on pillows. Bed pillows, outdoor pillows, couch cushions, whatever I can find. My foot is so nastily swollen that it’s sad. It hurts still some too. Especially when it starts to swell again.

Working out with this ankle is so not working out. I freaked Josh out though with it last night. It’s so swollen that I press into my foot, and it doesn’t pop back up, at all. It’s kind of nasty, in fact. Haven’t been that swollen since I was pregnant with Madison. Josh and I both have agreed that if it’s still this swollen by this time next week, I’m off to see a doctor. Most likely will end up with a pain shot, a drain, and a flex.

Oh, and we’re also thinking I might have hairline fractures in a couple of my toes because of the way they’re bruising, and because I keep losing feeling in them. Weird, right?
