Sharing what is shared with me

I do not know the Spohrs. Honestly, before I heard about the passing of Maddie on April 7, 2009, I’d never heard of them. But, as soon as I heard, I felt for them. My parents lost my brother, Joshua [yes, the same name as my husband], at 7 weeks, due to many complications. To this day, mentioning my brother brings a tear to my mom’s eye, and he would be 22 this October. That is the reason I’ve gone purple on my blog, my twitter page, and my Plurk page. TweetDeck is also in purple, along with my Trillian Astra theme, and even my desktop [minus the background page].

I got this e-mail from Lotus, and now I’m sharing it with you:

Stupid Spammers

Woke up this morning to 22 spams. TWENTY-TWO. So between the times of 11pm and 7am, I got hit by the spam squad. All different IPs, but all based somewhere other than the US. Stupid proxies. I wish those would get shut down along with the #1 spam site that was providing spammers with easy access to e-mail.

Bleh! What a wonderful start to my birthday.

Ain’t That the Way it Always Goes?

I just got an e-mail from Walmart that makes me wish the credit cards were paid off? Why?

Because of this: PlayStation 3 Blu-ray Entertainment Value Bundle! Price: $488.00. Yes, I said $488.
PlayStation 3 Blu-ray Entertainment Value Bundle includes:
* PlayStation 3 80GB Console
* Sony Blu-ray Remote
* Your choice of two (2) PlayStation 3 games
* Your choice of four (4) Blu-ray movies
Holy crap!!
From the choices, I would have to choose:
Games: LEGO Star Wars: Complete Saga and Madden ‘07, though Josh would prefer 08 🙂
Movies: A Knight’s Tale (Widescreen), 50 First Dates (Blu-ray), Underworld (Blu-ray), and The Legend of Zorro (Blu-ray)

Stupid economy. Ruining my plans again 🙁

Now, why do I twitter? There a multitude of reasons.
