I got a Titan Peeler at Walmart and got to play with it and some cucumbers. It was fun!
Ethan had a lot of fun playing with the “worms”. I made one heck of a nice sandwich using the cucumber instead of lettuce. The last bite was the only “wet” part of the sandwich. I honestly feel nice and full, almost 4 hours after eating the sandwich still.
Last night, I so didn’t get much sleep. Madison got the H1N1 flu shot at school on Friday (signed and okayed by us). Well, she had a regular flu shot in October and spent the next month and a half coughing and sniffling. We thought it was the heater. NOPE! Definitely the flu shot themselves. Poor thing!! She’s been right on the cusp of us having to call her out for school. She was not having a good time with it at all.
So, she was up all night coughing. She “slept” through it, but she was coughing until she gagged. I didn’t sleep because I was scared she’d puke and I’d be completely down for the count. So, I finally konked sometime between 3 and 4 am. No idea what time it was. All I know was that the next time I opened my eyes, Josh was walking around in his boxers to make some coffee this morning,.
I’m like o.o and Madi’s all O.O, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. How is any of that fair?

Oooh, Another I Want
I’ve been watching way too much tv while I’ve been sick. One commercial involves “Phoebe” from Friends. She’s cooking with her daughter. Now I seriously want Personal Trainer: Cooking. Now I need to get a new DS, since I only have the phat in ugly blue. I want a pink Nintendo DS Lite
, or maybe one in white with the BCA ribbon
Gobble Gobble Chow Down
Today’s Thanksgiving for the US. Food is a cooking in homes across the country or people are making treks to where food is being served.
Personally, I have sweet potatoes in the crock pot and pie crusts thawing on the stove. Making Hoosier pies for dinner. Yum!
Still congested and coughing, but feeling much better
