I’m trying to make healthier, smarter choices. Just small ones here and there (as I sit here, nomming on some Pumpkin Pie KitKats ). Each morning, especially before work, I make sure I have myself a shake. I switched to non-lactose containing milks (Fairlife ultra-processed or almondmilk), and I’ve noticed a HUGE change in how my body is digesting! Yay for that win against IBS!

For the rest of this week and next, I’m a coffee slinger.
Thankfully, most of the people who come actually look at me, talk to me, know my name.
Also, most of them are chickadees I actively work with, so that helps too!
Or is it “international”? I don’t know. Either way, I had my coffee. It was WAY too sweet (yeah, taste buds are changing. I can’t drink as sweet of coffee! Woo hoo!
But I had some!
I didn’t even get a chance to share the picture on the internet because I got a call asking me to come in earlier! I worked from 1119a (credit starting at 1115!) until 745 today! I clocked a no lunch. Supervisor was awesome and made sure that I did that because I didn’t take one. I didn’t even have a CHANCE. It’s okay, I snacked here and there when I could.
We were BUSY! That’s why I was called in. I was pulled in so I could work as an extra host. So many patients. It’s a good thing, yes, but holy crap, we could barely keep up. We’d forgotten,I think, what it was like to work when we’re that busy!
It’s not going to happen, but I can still wish for it, right?
Instead, I’m pretty for 2016 in the Day Designer Flagship planner. A few parts aren’t really going to work for me, so I’m designing stickers I can use instead.
Pieces I used are from Get Your Step On by Leaving a Legacy Designs, Princess Runners by Wimpychompers and Whole New Me by Wimpychompers. I’m excited to use them!
I’ve already put in a couple, just to see how the placement and stuff works. I need to work on my cutting skills, but otherwise, it worked out pretty well! WOO HOO!
And in case you’re curious:
I’ll be using this to track what work-outs (if any) I’ve done, besides my actual walking. If I take a walk outside for any length of time, and track it, etc, I’ll put it there. Or if I do a DVD work-out (or WiiFit/etc), that also gets logged in this area.
I know that they say keeping a daily track of your weight is a bad idea, but I need to do it. It’s more than just the loss. I keep an eye on the increases too because if I started getting a lot of water weight, it means I might be in for a doozy of a migraine. I’ve noticed that. It means my blood pressure is rising, and I have to keep an eye on that.
And of course this is for tracking my water intake. I need to really work on committing to that. I need to cut out the soda and go back to water. I count teas (even my sweet tea) as water because it’s brewed in water. It’s all water, with a little bit of sugar (I don’t even add sugar when I brew my iced tea in the Keurig!). I know there are people who disagree with that, but I don’t care. And when I’m drinking “plain” water, I add some Dasani Drosps Infusions Strawberry Basil Water Flavor Enhancer and oh my god, it is so good! And sugar free and all that goodness!
I got up “bright and early”, meaning before the bus came but after Ethan had gotten onto the bus. That even meant dressed. Not showered or anything. I do that right before work because otherwise sometimes my hair gets gross.
So, I did the laundry. My goal was two loads. I accomplished the two loads. Well, they’re washed and dried. That’s important 😉
