Clouds are Magestic

Clouds! Nothing like clouds in the sky.

No matter where you are, the clouds look the same.

But everyone views them differently.

I see them as beautiful, but I know people who see them as ugly! And annoying.

I’ll never see them that way.

Week(s) in My Life: Weeks 26 & 27

Two weeks this week, as I promised last week (or warned of, depending on how you take it). Life has been interesting to say the least. I have no stove/oven, and won’t until tomorrow at the earliest. I can tolerate that, since we do have a working microwave and what-not. I’m glad they’re not arguing the replacement. 😀

Now onto the weeks!

My friend got me hooked on the McCarthys of Gansett Island. I just love it!

A Little Scary

Just heard that there was a micro-burst tornado not far from here. It wasn’t picked up by radar. Ugh! Scary! People are pissed out because the sirens didn’t go off, but we’ve been under a tornado watch since 7pm. That means they’re possible. That means STAY THE HELL WHERE IT IS SAFE! We live in a very volatile area. Things can pop up out of nowhere. That’s why they say “If you don’t like the weather, wait five minutes.” Seriously. You can go from hot as hell and muggy as sin to “holy crap, where’s my jacket” in five minutes. Been there, done that. There’s a reason The Wizard of Oz is based in Kansas. It’s not just by happenstance!

Okay, small rant over. Now I have pretty pictures to share:
Clouds over NW Topeka
I am amazed by the bokeh effect, personally! I’m really proud of this, though I didn’t really have that much control over it. I had to close my eyes and pray it focused because bright sun was bright Winking smile

Weekly Winners: May 27–June 02, 2012

All shots taken with a Canon Rebel XS, Sony Cybershot DSCW120, Kodak EasyShare C195, or the HTC Inspire 4G Android Phone. More can be found on my Flickr account

Good morning. No truly, I’m actually awake while I write this. No pre-posting. Today, we have to go swimsuit shopping! Madi’s is too big, and so is Ethan’s. Damn kids didn’t grow! Okay, they did, just not in their waists or trunks, so everything fits weird. Madi has to have a 2-piece, similar to the reason I do: they’re designed for “normal waisted” people!

Now, onto the pictures!! There aren’t a lot. The kids … well, they’re not being interesting Crying face
