I’m not really looking for wholesale clothing, but I do like a good bargain for clothes! The kids are outgrowing their clothes almost faster than we can keep them in them! Ethan’s fully out of size 8’s. Well, sort-of. He’s too tall for them, but they still have to be adjusted to fit him in the waist … and they’re slims! Skinny waist, long legs. Hmm, I wonder where he gets that?
Eventually, they’ll stop growing long enough for us to get them into decent fitting clothes, but for now, they’re either too big or too small. With Ethan, I’d prefer too big. With Madison, I’d almost prefer too small, at least in shirts. They’re a little tighter, but she’s not flashing skin when she bends over either. Ugh! Girls are IMPOSSIBLE to raise, I Say!

Sunday, I went to Lawrence. We spent time together as a family, and it was nice. But gah, the kids. They drove me nuts. Absolutely nuts. I want a vacation away from my family. At least my kids. If it wasn’t so humid, I’d be checking out some Alabama hotels. Something, anything, to get away.
I love my family, but I need a break. I’d love to check out Alabama, though. I’ve heard that it’s a pretty state, that there are some great things to see.
I’ve been using a lot of wall mounted bathroom vanity in my Sims 3 games. I’m really loving them, and wondering how much fun they would be to use them in my house, when we actually get one. I love looking at bathroom vanities, accessories, and the like, when I’m at Lowe’s or Home Depot. I just can’t seem to get enough. I know what style of shower I want. And the bathtub. Yeah, I want them separate. I want to be able to soak in a hot bath with jets and bubbles, and let Josh have the option to take a shower too. That will mean we need a really good water heater. I’m okay with that.
I’ve got the colors chosen too: pale tan and a seafoam blue/green. Total beach theme. You know, just like the rest of the house is planned to be. I’ll need lots of shelves for storage and decor too!
The apartment below us has 5 adults, minimum, and 2 kids living in it. It’s a three-bedroom apartment. You can imagine how many vehicles they’re using (meaning parking spots). Here’s a hint. Each adult has their own, PLUS they have a spare, and they all park in front of the building, that barely has enough room for 1.5 adults per apartment (8 apartments, and only about 13 spots in front of the apartment, including 2 for only a specific apartment, and one for handicapped). Below us is SO bad that they’re like “I don’t care, I’m going to park in the handicapped spot”. They use their PARENTS’ handicapped parking window thing. Yeah. They’re freaking awesome.
So, while we’re not looking to find outer banks foreclosures (too far away), we’d really like to get the heck out of dodge, and yesterday!
