I truly love these sorts of challenges and days. I don’t know. I guess I don’t appreciate all the things that happen in the day! I missed some prime picture moments (like the sunset, my husband coming home (or being home)) but I’m not worried about it! I got some great ones, including my son actually posing for a few! That was precious in and of itself!
The day started sort of late. I took a sleep-aid because ugh, SO MUCH PAIN in my head and body from being stressed to the max by my neighbors. So, I woke up long enough this morning to say goodbye to my husband. Around 9am, a diesel truck started up, which jolted me awake. I wasn’t ready to fully wake up, so I hung out with Kendall the Kindle and read Continue reading →
Day 16, Friday: Blogging is about sharing the love. Tell us about 5 blogs that you love reading regularly.
Moosh in Indy
Casey is her name, photography and ADORABLE kids is what she’s known for. She’s always so open and honest about her depression, her struggles, and all of that. She’s seriously so SWEET and makes me miss Indiana more and more, every single time I read her blog!
Another blog about a mom, but more than just a mom. I love the open honesty in this blog as well. She’s hilarious, and her posts always hit home, no matter the topic.
Yes, I’m a reader. Yes, I enjoy the “smut” side of romance. These reviews really give the books a nice “kick” and you know what you’ll be getting yourself into, without having the whole plot spoiled on you.
She’s the creator of the amazing “Currently List” stuff that I do! She has so many great things going on, and I just love her crafts! She makes me feel semi-useless, but I still love following!
There’s More to the Story … I’m not even really sure how it came about, but I was switching to a new sub after a server got jacked and ruined my WP files. I had been with Pieces of Me, and that just didn’t fit right. I was looking at pictures and remembered the quote “A picture is worth a thousand words” and it made me think that there’s always more to a story than just what you see! And that’s how the blog name was born! I’ve had it for several years now, and I just love it!
“Hiding behind the lens is safer than hiding behind a computer” … Trolls drive me insane. They hide behind anonymity and computer screens. You’re judged a lot less when you’re the one behind the lens instead of in front of it, and that’s just where I prefer to be!
Write a poem or piece of creative prose.
“No, it is not too late. You were honest. That is what I love most about you.” “I do not care about being honest right now. I just want to be left alone. I am tired of being told what I have to do, what I cannot do, and all of that. I am tired of being lied to, and I am tired of being left in the dark.”
Its from something I wrote during NaNoWriMo. I know it’s not recent but I love it. I’m proud of some of my writings.
