Today’s Throwback Thursday is a little more special than “usual” for me. Eleven years ago, right around this time, Josh and I were heading to the hospital to have a suspicious sharp pain in my back investigated. Turns out, I was in labor, and the pains were related to my blood pressure skyrocketing, putting some stress on my kidneys. Yay! 19 hours after that, I had a gorgeous baby girl to hold in my arms!
So, today’s Throwback Thursday will be centered on the day before her birthdays! I only have 2007, and then 2009-2013, but that’s okay!
At my parents’ house in Indiana. Concrete horses. She was a whole whopping 4 years old then! Ethan was TWO!
I think we found the perfect bedding for Madison. Not that we’re going to buy it because she just got a huge set for her birthday, but she liked it 😉
Father’s Day was yesterday. I already blogged about that, so I’m not going to do it again. Instead, I’m going to focus on the fact that that little blonde thing in the picture above? She’s going to be nine. On Wednesday.
Nine! Seriously! NINE! No, this needs to end now. She needs to stop. Like, now.
Sunday, we celebrated Madi’s birthday Monday was her official day, but Sunday was the day everyone could get there, That’s what happens when most of your family works for the USPS
Summer must be here. I’m seeing a lot of people driving with an rv towing something. Usually a little car.
Personally, I’m not going anywhere. We usually go to my folks but this year, not going. We were hoping to have moved but didn’t, so that week we were hoping to move, we ended up … um, going places. Kansas City, the zoo, places like that. Enjoyed a nice week together.
This week? No real plans. Prepping for the start of swim lessons and Madi’s birthday, both of which occur on MONDAY. Not today, but NEXT Monday.
*NOTE* Title of post has nothing to do with actual post. Just a random stuck in my head
