I’m officially one book ahead of schedule! I feel like I need to read more!
Similar to the Weekly Winners, but instead of just my favorites, it’ll be more of telling how the week went. 😀 I missed sharing my pictures!
Gearing up for a year of planning, using my Erin Condren. I love it!

DARE TO SURRENDER (Dare To Love #3) by Carly Phillips:
After ending a relationship to a cheating, domineering man, Isabelle Masters takes off in her leased Mercedes, only to be arrested for grand theft and hauled to a local police station. To her surprise, she is rescued by the most unlikely person possible, Gabriel Dare, a man she’s been attracted to for far too long. Gabe offers Isabelle freedom along with an invitation to Eden, an exclusive island resort where everything and anything is possible.
Although Gabe yearns to possess Isabelle, he knows all too well he must fight his primitive need to bind her to him, and instead help bring out the independent woman she yearns to become – or risk losing her for good.
A woman who needs to run her own life. A man who needs to exert control. Can she surrender to his erotic demands without losing her sense of self once more?

I got the chance to read this before it’s release. First off, this is a first and a big honor!
I’ll be honest. I hadn’t read the first two when I got the copy. I purchased both of them, without even thinking. I’m a HUGE Carly Phillips fan. HUGE! There are authors you go back and read, re-read, and re-read over and over. This series was no exception. I blew through the books in just a few days. Three books, about 4 days.
Now to the story:
There’s a hint of slight BDSM. Nothing big, not like the Rough Rider series or similar. I enjoyed it. It was just a hint, enough to add spice to the story. If you’re not a fan, don’t let the hints turn you away.
It’s a classic romance, with that happy ending, but it’s a different spin, as Carly Phillips is known for!
I know I’m leaving out SO MUCH but I don’t want to give away everything. I could gush, but I’d completely ruin the story. Let me just put it this way: my Kindle was attached to my hand the whole time I was reading. Dinner, dishes, bed, working on the computer, etc. I couldn’t put the book down at all!
Oh my goodness! I was sucked in almost from the very beginning. It was such a great read. I loved the incorporation of Sundown’s history with his present, and how all decisions led to one point.
I did get confused in some parts. Probably will be doing a re-read to figure that out. Like Coyote and Ren. WTF? Um … what?
But all in all, a great read. Another amazing story from an amazing author!
Note: I started reading this on August 2nd, around 9am. I finished before 2:30pm … on that date. Yeah, I had that Kindle attached to me ALL day
