So Fail
So, I ran one day. ONE DAY and then spent 3 days barely able to walk because of shin splints and muscle cramps. WTH? Figured out my biggest problem is that I run weird. Like seriously weird. And really hard, too. That’s causing strain on my knee and ankle (the ankle I screwed up a year ago). The shoes that are PERFECT right now (that I own) cause my foot and leg to go funky, because of the tongue of the shoe.
Ugh, I feel like I’m just making excuses and should just look into apidexin cheap, but damn it, I want to get in shape. I want flatter everything (except chest and butt, of course
). Bleh!
Going to Work
I would so love to have a job right now. Something that pays well, but doesn’t require dealing with the public. That definitely knocks out medical assistant school. Then again that was knocked out because um, EW, I don’t like people’s bodily fluids. Heck, I don’t even like my own kids’.
Speaking of which, anyone know how to train a boy to pee in the toilet and not all over the floor. In a review video, you can hear me say “Ew, this stinks” and its because of the pee on the floor. Its really bad when Josh is saying “Oh that’s nasty”.
Randomosity
I’ve actually looked at lights similar to those at Seagull lighting, for when we get a house. The fixtures are so gorgeous! I’m wanting something fun and that will mesh well with stuff we already have, plus the theme(s) we plan on creating. Most of the house will be in blues and browns, beachy colors. Its one of the things Josh and I really agree on though even if he didn’t, I think he’d let me have it, since I’d be spending more time in it than he would,. Smart man, right?
Setting Lofty Goals
Posted by Sarah in Blog 365 2009, NaNoWriMo 2009, advice, working, writings on November 10, 2009
Okay, I’m already 369 words ahead of the minimum writing goal for today of 16667. I’m setting the goal for myself to have a total of 25K words by the end of Friday. That would mean, literally, writing 7964 words in a little under four days. That would be writing 1991 words a day. That, I’m pretty sure I can do. I’m actually getting into my story, and I’m loving it. Plus, I have people going “can I read, can I read, can I read” constantly, so that really is helping keep me on track.
I am noticing though that I write more when I’m on a time crunch. Meaning, I have to write during commercials of my favorite shows. Otherwise, I can’t force myself to do it. I need to work on that. If I really want to become a professional writer, I need to not just float on the current way that I am. I need to push myself harder.
For now, though, I have a few other commitments I need to work on. Ciao!
