Since Today’s Good Friday …
Posted by Sarah in Blog 365 2010, music, videos on April 2, 2010
I’m a HUGE dcTalk fan, so I know a song by them that would fit most any mood. Well, since it’s Good Friday, I figured anything that represented what Jesus stood for and what he taught was a good song. But, this song is about paying attention to the red letters, which in KJV bibles (usually) are the words of Jesus Christ. So, enjoy!
Also, if you’re not a Christian, please do not take offense and post rude replies. I do not mock your beliefs, so do not mock mine!
John 3:16,17
(16) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (17) For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Oh, and that reminds me of a bumper sticker Josh saw yesterday:
Oh yeah right. Like Jesus Christ would own a gun and vote Republican
Boredom
Okay, I’m bored, so I’m gonna do this off the fly. Gonna put my MP3 player on random, and list the first couple lines (or so), and see if y’all can guess who did the song (and what song).
Ready to play?
1. Bust It! / This here’s a tale for all the fellas
2. The declaration of independence / Think I can tell you that first sentence / But then I’m lost
3. Good Morning, Beautiful / How was your night? / Mine was wonderful with you by my side
4. That anchor man / says the fight began / somewhere in the Middle East.
5. I’m tired of being what you want me to be / Feeling so faithless lost under the surface / Don’t know what you’re expecting of me
