An Update on Me

Well, I haven’t blogged in awhile. No real reason. Just haven’t.

This past week has been INSANEly busy!

Monday: I worked a morning shift. That’s not that big of a deal. It was followed by a Boy Scout EARLY function, but it’s okay. Josh was off this week.

This was my last chance to see a sunset all week. Why?

Because Tuesday, I had my removed. I had to have cheeks cut (ouch) and extra bone removed. That means I’m on a steroid, a major pain med, AND an antibiotic. Woo boy!

I came out of it pretty well. I was only taking two Hydrocodones a day, and a lot of time, that was just because my body was resisting sleep and I needed to sleep. Oh, and my TMJ flaring up. THAT has been the most painful part of all of this.

I had some great reaching out and making sure I was okay 😀

So, Wednesday was Josh’s . Poor guy didn’t have the best of one because of me. I was grumpy and pissy all day. :'(

Thursday, we found out we’re going to be spending $200 for 36-months for two kids with braces. BUT, with Ethan, it’s preventing jaw surgery later in his , so that’s good. gets to have a spacer with a rubber band. Ethan is under strict orders to brush his teeth better. And we unofficially got confirmation that to fix my teeth, I’d have to have that jaw surgery. Yeah, no.

Friday! Friday I had my follow-up for my Vyvanse. I’m sticking with the 30mg for now (which is good, because I restarted it today and oh god, it’s like meth-head all over again!). I started eating more foods, which is good, as well! The boys also went camping!

Madi and I hung out at home. We both lounged around and did nothing.

Saturday, the boys were still out, and Madi and I went to the store. We needed milk! My first time driving since I had my teeth removed. Not a big deal, but as soon as I got home, were taken. In fact, I might be taking some Advil or Tylenol very soon. Stupid TMJ!

Bruises started to show as well on my jaw!

It’s getting pretty gnarly looking. Josh told me to tell people that they should see the other guy :O

Yesterday! Yesterday I felt NORMAL for the most part. I still took 2 pills but the 2nd was at night and whoo, that was full of regret because I slept like ass, but more on that later 😉

Yesterday, I PLANNED in my planner!

20180422_174846
This week! I missed using my bullet journal. I like being able to have a variety in layouts! I was using the Bullet Planner but it just wasn’t working for me!

20180422_173655My monthly layout for May. No need to do one for April, 😉
I have the 30th listed because I re-start 80 Day Obsession then!

20180422_173650Working on those monthly goals. I got this set from Planning Made Easy (part of the April Sub Box). I love the stickers, but I need to figure out a better way to use them.

Then we come to today. I slept like butt!

Well, I got some sleep, just not enough. It was very erratic.

BUT, some good came out of it. Josh woke up in a really good mood, and now this happened …

They’re completely sold old locally, minus like ONE in a store in a not-so-safe area. So, I’m getting a FitBit in black with a stainless steel band in purple! I can get covers to make it more me. I really wanted the peach/rose-gold or the rose-gold with purple, but I’m happy that I’m getting a new FitBit. Anyone who knows me KNOWS I’m obsessed with the look and style of the but I’m not a fan of Apple at all, and the price is just ridiculous! So when Fitbit originally came out with the Blaze and Ion, I was like WANT but they’re SO HUGE and looked ridiculous on my little wrists. BUT the Apple Watch is smaller, and so is the Versa!

I’ll still use my Garmin but the Charge will be either given to Madi or Josh. I’m thinking Josh because that man needs to track his sleep already. It would give a doctor a step forward in figuring out why he’s always exhausted.

I was so excited it made it into my bullet journal 😉

Like I’m tracking when I ordered, when it’s due to come in. Hell, I might log it’s shipping track too. That’s how excited for this thing that I am!

Josh’s justification was that it’s $200. That’s how much we’re going to be paying a month starting in July. That gives a chance to figure out the budget around it.

We won’t be buying $200 extra every month until then or anything. I just love that he’s finding reasons to help me be a better me!
