I was off. It was nice. I’m glad my schedule got changed and I was off, because I had to do some running around places. So much easier when I’m not in a rush to get back home before I have to get ready to leave for work.
I took a shower. You can see the swelling in my right eye. 🙁
Ethan waiting for the bus. If you look, you can see the water starting to hit the ground 😉
See, the concrete is getting wet!
I do get an appointment at 11am, thankfully. Everything came back as better, and it looks like most of my issue was because of allergies, even the green goop when combined with the contacts. So, Friday, I have another appointment to get bi-weekly, and for now, I’m to rest my eyes and use some lubricating drops. See, good thing I was off. Hard to put in eye drops at work!
Then I went to Walmart. I needed to get the drops and a few other things. I picked myself up some lunch and things like that so I can eat during the day now, 😆
We got notification of a severe thunderstorm watch, and that meant running out and taking pictures of clouds. I ended up dropping the camera inside and talking with my neighbor until Madison came home. Zoey and I both cracked up when the kids got most of the way to the building and the skies opened up and poured on them. Then about 5 minutes after Madi got home, it was done and cleared up. Seriously, too funny!
The sky opened up again between the time Madi got home and Ethan was due to come home. It was pretty bad. I’m stunned we didn’t get any flood advisories at the least.
We had localized flooding, that’s for sure!
And then, just as fast as the rain came in, it was gone and the heavens cleared, looking GORGEOUS!
I sort of cleaned the living room. I picked up the floor some.
Mostly it was so that I could work out.
