ACK! Almost NaNoWriMo Time!

I cannot believe that in just under 2 hours, I can start writing.
*runs around screaming*
Oh holy CRAP!

My main character, Linden, was sold into slavery, basically, by her father. She was sold to the thieves guild. They trained her. They guided her. They gave her skills she can use. They want payment for that. Linden just wants to be free to live her life, to go where she pleases, to do what she wants. The Guild isn’t about to let her just walk away. She has to finish out her jobs.
She wants a clean break, so she doesn’t have to continue to look over her shoulder, so she agrees. What she doesn’t realize is that the Guild wants her to fail. They send out a bounty hunter, Obsurn, to make sure that she fails. She’s one of their best rogues and they’re not going to give her up without a fight.
Osburn and Linden have a history. That history involves a lot of drama. Drama that hasn’t been fleshed out yet.
Linden isn’t happy that she has Osburn on her tail. She knows he’s there to make her fail. What she doesn’t know is that he’s fighting his own heart and doesn’t want to see her fail. He wants her to succeed. He wants her to have all that she desires in life.
Who will see their goal achieved? Will the Guild lose a member? Will hearts break?

The premise/synopsis of my story.
We’ll see how it goes!

Oh Sheezus Peezus

In less than 24 hours, I’ll be in a full-on panic. In just over 24 hours, I’ll be hopefully asleep, dreaming of my new friends, Linden, Os, Ardic, Davian, and the rest of the gang.

NaNoWriMo is almost upon me, and I’m getting prepped. I’m seriously more prepped this year than I ever have before. Like EVER!

I have a plot. I have a “rosebud” which is that secret that only I know, and the reader will later go “Oh, wow. DUH!”

I have the binder all prepped

A Week in My Life: Sunday

Adventuroo WIML sunday

I can’t believe this is the last entry I’ll be doing for this. It actually makes me kind of sad Sad smile I really enjoyed it, more than I thought I would (and I expected to REALLY enjoy it). I had so much entertainment, finding out what exactly I do all day. I found that when my husband is home, I’m a little chicken with no head.

Sunday is my husband’s normal day off. Sometimes, it’s his only day off. This week had been really nice, having him home, and I’m loving that tomorrow through Friday, he’ll be home again, some more. He’ll also be home the week of my birthday (Dec. 08), which will be the first time since we started dating that he’s been able to get my birthday off. Open-mouthed smile

So, here we go with Sunday!

We did some grocery shopping. Josh needed cereal, and we realized, “Oh crap, we don’t have Halloween candy.” So, we picked up some of that. Oh, and marshmallows. Hot chocolate addiction is kicking back in, and well, I like mine with marshmallows Smile with tongue out

A Week in My Life: Saturday

Adventuroo WIML saturday

Okay, Saturday just sucked for me. Staying awake until 1am, and then I get woken up early (early for me on non-Girl Scout Saturdays). I just felt really discombobulated and just out of sorts. It’s really reflected in the fact that I have only a few pictures.

SO, I slept in. Sort of.
