2011 Almost Over :O

I stole this from Zoot, who stole it from someone else. We’re just a big bunch of thieves in the blogging world (and I mean that with a sense of humor, not as an actual statement).

  1. What did you do in 2011 that you’d never done before?
    I became part of the Girl Scouts. Like full on part of. I’m officially a leader, and I’m planning on continuing :O
  2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
    Not really, no. I don’t think I did.
  3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
    My best friend Julie, December 15, to little Miss Abigail.
  4. Did anyone close to you die?
    My FIL had to put down Molly, but I’m not sure if that counts.
  5. What countries did you visit?
    I barely left the county let alone the country.
  6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
    More self-confidence, I think.
  7. What dates from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
    I honestly can’t think of exact dates, minus birthdays and anniversaries. Is that bad?
  8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
    This is probably going to sound bad, but I honestly can’t think of one. Unless you count winning NaNoWriMo again, there really wasn’t anything big.
  9. What was your biggest failure?
    I failed miserably at working out.
  10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
    Madison got a toothpick shoved into her foot. Otherwise, not really.
  11. What was the best thing you bought?
    The Keurig. OMFG. Seriously!
  12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
    Madison and Ethan doing great in school :D Oh, and Josh finally became regular. Does that count?
  13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
    Um, too many to list, honestly.
  14. Where did most of your money go?
    Bills. Bills. More bills. Fun, right?
  15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
    KEURIG!! :D

  18. What do you wish you’d done more of? praising my children

  20. How did you spend Christmas? with family, enjoying and building better relationships
  21. Did you fall in love in 2011? No, just more in love
  22. What was your favorite TV program? NCIS & Bones :D
  23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? Nope, not really
  24. What was the best book you read? Retribution (Dark-Hunter Novels) by Sherrilyn Kenyon
  25. What was your greatest musical discovery? Um, I’m not sure.
  26. What did you want and get? KEURIG :D
  27. What did you want and not get? Lens for the camera and a Kindle Fire :P
  28. What was your favorite film of this year? Tangled. Seriously.
  29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? We went out for dinner at Olive Garden for my 30th :D
  30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Seeing my family in person, and not just through Facebook chat.
  31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011? Attempting to grow up
  32. What kept you sane? My camera, my blog, social media
  33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Ryan Gosling :D
  34. What political issue stirred you the most? SOPA & Healthcare
  35. Who did you miss? Kathy, Josh’s mom. SO many changes happened this year, ones that break my heart that she has to miss
  36. Who was the best new person you met? Oh, geez. I don’t know. I “met” quite a few!
