Okay, freaking SERIOUSLY. Where the hell has the year gone? We’re starting 3/4 of the end … THE END … of the year 
Um WHAT? Kids go back to school in 16 days. I register them in 3. Wow. Now that it’s coming up this close, I’m a little sad 
I will say this. August is not coming in quietly. Expected high of 103F today. That’s not taking into account heat index. I don’t give a fig WHAT you say, heat index DOES count. Dry heat and wet heat are totally different. Still, 103, without heat index is f’ing hot! High tomorrow is supposed to be 106 Um, OUCH! I read an expected feels like high of 122 I’m hoping I misread something because that’s SCARY! I’m thinking it was 112, and my eyes screwed up, 
. The high for Friday though? 89F. Yeah, I’ll be the dork outside in a sweatshirt going “holy crap, it’s cold!” Reminds me, I need to fill out the form so I can get me an Elmont sweatshirt. I’m going to get a tee and a sweatshirt, so I can wear them on field trips 
In other news, August means new releases and collabs! Brownie Scraps and Gingerscraps both have a few!!
Summer Cottage is the monthly collab for Gingerscraps. Seriously? All of the pieces are amazing. I used pieces from Unforgettable Moments, Connie Prince, and Kathy Winters for this. The picture is Ethan passed out, in 2010, on the way to my parents’ house in Indiana
And as a GS CT person, I have a sneak peek on September’s theme for the collab, and oh good GOD! You’ll love this theme! Also, keep an eye out on the 3rd and the 5th! A new mega is coming out and it’s amazing. The 5th is the regular new releases, including one from Pretty in Green!
Also coming out from Gingerscraps is the August Grab Bag for when you spend $10 or more. This month, it was created by Connie Prince. TRUST me, it’s SERIOUSLY cute, and chock full of great stuff!
There’s also the daily download on the GS Blog. This month’s is created by Kathy Winters, and called Summertime Citrus! It’s BEAUTIFUL!
