Goodness, it was COLD this morning! We went from 75F yesterday to a high in the 40s today! *shiver* I hate the cold.

Eh, at least I can look semi-cute when I go out, even if I have to wear my warmer coat, ![]()

Look! There were even some SNOWFLAKES on the windshield. I’m glad that’s ALL the snow that we got, though!

First, we drove to Holton, to talk to the insurance folks at State Farm (whom we LOVE, btw
). I now have $100K life insurance on me, plus $10K for each kid! YAY! One less worry for us! Also got the information on what we need to do when we DO have a bid on a house
YAY!
After State Farm, we went to Josh’s dad. We still owed him some Girl Scout cookies,
. While we were there, we talked a little about clogged toilets and Josh’s dad wanting one of us to come up and check on the property a bit on a Saturday. We can SO do that. I don’t have a problem with that. ![]()

So, we left Holton, and headed back towards Topeka. I had these BIG plans of getting some new glasses, but apparently everyone else in Topeka had the same idea,
, so now I have an appointment for March 03, at 10am. I’m the FIRST appointment, it looks like, MAYBE 2nd/3rd, so
, I’ll be able to HOPEFULLY get glasses and contacts while I’m there, too
. I’m gonna find out about the free trial stuff on the contacts, so I can SEE if I like the contacts before I get committed to them. Smart, right?

Since Voldemort gave us a $50 gift card for Olive Garden, Josh and I went out for lunch!

Josh tolerated me pulling out the camera for things. Well, the cellphone
. He found it amusing, actually ![]()

Since this is what I had for breakfast (STILL yummy, though), I was a little hungry … or THOUGHT I was ![]()

Oh, the lunch was DELIOUS, but sadly, we couldn’t finish half,
We filled up on salad and breadsticks. Okay, I filled up on salad. Josh filled up on breadsticks, mushrooms, and calamari. *drool*

DEFINITELY enjoyed the raspberry lemonade that I had. It was SO good! ![]()

After lunch, we froze our butts off walking back to the truck. ![]()
We then went to Target, and got Madi some markers (and me some Pretzel M&M’s and a 20-oz. of Dr. Pepper). We also went to Michael’s, and I got some ink for my hybrid projects, as well as some dotted ribbon. It’s brown with pink and brown with blue. SO cute!
When we got home, I also e-mailed our realtor with three houses we’d like to check out, in person. Well, I’ll be checking them out, and then, if I like them, we’ll see if Josh can get a chance to check them out. I’m hoping one of these three will work out for us!
