I look at myself in the mirror, and I see the man who modeled not only DNA, but my personality and my spirit. I look at myself and I see the strength that he taught me to have, the belief in myself that he gave to me, that he holds to believe as well.
My father is the greatest man I have ever known. Every male in my life has been compared to him, and only one has passed that test, and was accepted whole-heartedly by that man, as well.
My father did more than just give me life. My father helped me find a purpose for my life. My father did more than provide a roof over my head; he gave me a home in which the door is always open, waiting should I need to use it. My father gave me more than food in my stomach; he gave me the food that my soul and my heart so needed. He wasn’t able to give me everything that I “wanted”, but he made damn sure I had everything that I could ever need: Love, Support, Guidance, HIM!
I am blessed beyond measure that this amazing human being is more than just a father to me. He is also a very good friend, someone I can rely on.
Daddy, you mean so much more than I can ever express. I am so very blessed to be your daughter! I love you!
