The kids had the time of their life yesterday. We didn’t end up going anywhere, like we’d planned, but it was okay.
They both got Leapster 2s from my parents. So, Madison spent all day (and I mean that literally) playing with it,. Ethan got several new Transformers (replaced Optimus, Jolt, Crankshaft/Camshaft [can't remember *which* he actually is], and JetFire), and played all day with those. We also got him two “matchbox” versions of Skidz and Mudflapz (gotta say those two, after Bumblebee, are my ultimate faves,
).
I have been living in my Christmas gift from my parents. It’s a Colts hooded sweatshirt. Its so warm and comfy and WARM. I’ve been running a fever on and off (between 99.5 and 102.1) all week, so the added warmth is nice. Plus, its soft and almost silky inside, so it’s not aggravating the extra dry skin from the heater.
Josh got a new Indiana Jones hat from ThinkGeek.com.
It’s felted wool, or something like that. Almost an exact replica of the one Harrison Ford actually wore. He picked it out, handed me the card to order it, and went “That’s all I want”.
In exchange, I got WiiFit (which I opened early, BTW,). He also got me Sims 3: World Adventures. Played it for SIX HOURS yesterday. Yeah, and I claimed I didn’t want it,. I got him Lego Indiana Jones, the original adventures. He seriously HATED Crystal Skull because of how they did Mutt, and all that, so I didn’t get him the newest version.
Well, the kids got a lot more than just that, but honestly, I don’t want to list anymore. I’m starting to get woozy again from the current fever, and it’s not fun. So, see you on the flip side. Before the New Year, I’ll upload a few of the Christmas pics.
