Laptop Spoilage

No, I’m not getting a new one. Trust me, the laptop I have is actually a really good one (2 years old, and only needs a couple upgrades … hardcore, right?)

Anyways:
We went and looked at our local Best Buy. Oi. They remodeled,, and we couldn’t find anything, but we did finally find the routers! Josh would rather, if nothing else, get 2 4-ports, instead of a 7-port, which is okay with me. He’d love it if we could find one with the ability to hook into the router, and then we can network with it, if that’s possible.

BUT!! While looking, he’s like, how much is RAM and a new HD for the laptop? :w00t:

Now to figure out if I can upgrade my HD, use my GeekSquad-made back-up CD to put Vista onto it, or if I’m going to lose basically everything. The good news is that he’s 100% behind spending $150 on the printer (touchscreen all-in-one, a little smaller than our current, but better ink user) *and* getting me Windows 7 for the laptop, no matter what. I’d just rather spend $100 on the upgrade version, instead of $200-300 for the full version. BUT! Maybe I could get the 64-bit, if I have to buy Windows, because then I can get 2-2-gig sticks. Hmm …

And this is on top of the laptop bag that I’m getting eventually.
