I do not know the Spohrs. Honestly, before I heard about the passing of Maddie on April 7, 2009, I’d never heard of them. But, as soon as I heard, I felt for them. My parents lost my brother, Joshua [yes, the same name as my husband], at 7 weeks, due to many complications. To this day, mentioning my brother brings a tear to my mom’s eye, and he would be 22 this October. That is the reason I’ve gone purple on my blog, my twitter page, and my Plurk page. TweetDeck is also in purple, along with my Trillian Astra theme, and even my desktop [minus the background page].

I would also like to say that I pretty much NEVER send Forwards or Mass Emails. So you might take note that I think this is worth it.
A fellow blogger and friend lost her daughter this past week. There is a campaign to help her family, and to make a difference for babies who need help in the future.

My heart is breaking for the online community this week… both with Maddie, and now Talon. I wish I had extra money left over, but unfortunately, the coffers are dry.

We have the same problem. I was hoping to be able to donate but then the post office is like “we have to cut such and such amount of hours”
