Puppy Power

Josh and the boy were watching Pound Puppies, and made me realize we might need to buy some dog supplies. Why? Because of friends, Mark and Julie, got a puppy, named Jack :) We could get him something for the holidays.

But what do you get a dog for the holidays?
Molly and Suzie, Josh’s dad’s dogs, we would get bones or something because they’re bigger. Jack is a tiny dog, one of those lap dog types :)

They sell stockings full of goodies for cats and dogs in Walmart’s pet section… Full of various toys and treats for them.

For Halloween, I bought my mom’s dog a little jacket… I found it at Dollarama.. it was only a dollar and too darn cute to pass up.

I think we’re going to do the stocking idea. They have ones that are designed for different sized dogs, so it would work :)

Yup… and I just remembered something. My mom and step-dad buy a little something for their dog every year… she gets presents under the tree too… it’s cute!

I think it was last year, or the year before, they bought her a stuffed squirrel that came with a little blanket. She loved that thing… It had a squeak ball inside.. and even though the squirrel was bigger than her head, she tried all that she could to squish that little thing to hear it… So adorable! They have all sorts of little things like that. I love how she gets all excited when we tell her she’s got a present and they unwrap it for her. She’ll stare, sniff and wag her tail the entire time. :)

Molly and Suzie open their own presents. That is the most hilarious site ever. I will have to get video of it this year, so I can have verification,.
