Okay, this post is a suggestion from a Plurk pal, Helena Hndbskt, but one I couldn’t resist.
After dropping my daughter off for her first day of kindergarten, my son and I drove to Walmart to pick up some sidewalk chalk. Price was something I couldn’t beat, so I snapped it up, and we set off home (after purchasing other essentials, of course).
The boy had the time of his life, and enjoyed every second of it, I think. He didn’t exactly draw an ornate picture, but he enjoyed every second he was out there, I think.
Mommy enjoyed her time outside as well. It was a beautiful and sunny day, and because kids were in school, QUIET. I was able, courtesy of my laptop and wireless router, to be outside with him and keep my self entertained. I loved it.
I love my pavilion behind my apartment. I get to enjoy myself, my son gets to enjoy himself, and we have a modicum of privacy that makes it even better. Only thing disrupting us was the Cox guy either turning on something or turning it off (not for us, obviously).
