Thursday Thirteen - 20th Edition - Thirteen Weird Search Terms

Things are going well while we’re in Indiana. Sister is being a major pain in the ass (at least 1 major blow-up a day, including verbal confrontations, but no physical yet, though I had to restrain myself from doing something yesterday). We’ve figured out when we’re leaving. We leave June 21st, so that we can have Madi’s birthday here (and not on the road). The post office has Josh working the Saturday and Sunday before he leaves, so he’ll be getting a later start than he’d planned ( Poor guy!!

The kids are doing well. They’re all excited for BABY FISH!! One of the fish Megan and I picked out for Dad had BABIES!! So far there are 3 little “cow fish”. They’re not really cow fish, they’re just spotted like them. They’re freaking CUTE!!

Thirteen Weird Searches I’ve Gotten (and their results, if any)
These thirteen are picked from a list of 247 search terms, just done thus far for the month of June o.O

  • developmental delays in 2 year old
Nothing was found in a search of the blog so I hope they found what they were looking for. I think it was because I was posting about Ethan’s slow speech development.
  • plumber in video you re gonna miss this
I have no idea who the plumber was, sorry!!
  • adult story archive
Nothing for this either, but I’ve got a feeling it’s about the reviews I did concerning adult products )
  • haiku about earthquake
I did write a haiku about the earthquake that hit Evansville (well 40 miles west/south/whatever), but it doesn’t show in the search. Then again, the haiku didn’t mention the earthquake, just the writing afterwards.
  • nympho niagra reviews
Another search concerning the adult reviews I did ) Seems to be a popular post. I’m glad I did it. If it wasn’t constantly getting spammed, I’d reopen comments on it.
  • transvestite sims
This one makes me giggle, but it really shouldn’t, since I did have a Sim that looked like a transvestite
  • terri clark wedding
Sorry, no info for that )
  • ethans poop
I discuss my son’s poop a lot, but I never thought someone would search for that, xD
  • funpanties
This is for the WTF-factor. Anyone have ANY clue what the heck that means?
  • svu boy rape boy and 3 girls
I remember writing about this episode, and man, did that episode bother me.
  • wire napkin ring project
I know this is because of my wishlist page, but weird that it shows up at least once a month o.o
  • maytag epic z washer is ruining my clothes
Well, person who searched that, I hope you find relief. I know I was looking at a Maytag washer, but I haven’t purchased one, so I can’t help. Try calling a repairman.
  • repube
YAY!! I’m getting noticed for my term “repube”. I loves my word. I don’t care if it’s been used before, I’d never heard it, so it’s MY word ) Just like “craptastic”

In the tradition, song I’ve obsessed with at the moment. This one reminds me of Mom, even though it’s about a step-dad. Warning, the song is definitely a tear-jerker, if you’re prone to crying at songs.

Can’t embed, but here’s the video

He Didn’t Have to Be
Brad Paisley

When a single mom goes out on a date with somebody new
It always winds up feeling more like a job interview
My momma used to wonder if she’d ever meet someone
Who wouldn’t find out about me and then turn around and run

I met the man I call my dad when I was five years old
He took my mom out to a movie and for once I got to go
A few months later I remember lying there in bed
I overheard him pop the question and prayed that she’d say yes

And then all of a sudden
Oh, it seemed so strange to me
How we went from something’s missing
To a family
Lookin’ back all I can say
About all the things he did for me
Is I hope I’m at least half the dad
That he didn’t have to be

I met the girl that’s now my wife about three years ago
We had the perfect marriage but we wanted somethin’ more
Now here I stand surrounded by our family and friends
Crowded ’round the nursery window as they bring the baby in

And now all of a sudden
It seemed so strange to me
How we’ve gone from something’s missing
To a family
Lookin’ through the glass I think about the man
That’s standin’ next to me
And I hope I’m at least half the dad
That he didn’t have to be

Lookin’ back all I can say
About all the things he did for me
Is I hope I’m at least half the dad
That he didn’t have to be

Yeah, I hope I’m at least half the dad
That he didn’t have to be
Because he didn’t have to be
You know he didn’t have to be

I’ve never had anyone leave comments on my older posts except spammers. Might as well leave it closed.

@ Alice I haven’t had anything but spammers either, so that’s why it stays closed ) I got a nifty plugin that automatically closes old posts and I love it.

@ Chris I love my word ) It kind of has a dirty connotation (think pubes), but it fits how I feel about the current Republicans running the nation.
