1-pkg of smoked sausage
1-jar of Alfredo sauce
1-pkg frozen broccoli
➡ Put the sausage in a skillet, along with the broccoli and about a half cup of water.
➡ Cook on medium-high until broccoli isn’t frozen, and sausage looks like the skin might pop (or is at least warm). Shouldn’t be more than 20-25 minutes.
➡ Drain out the water (as much as possible) and add the Alfredo sauce. I usually cut up the sausage after draining, but it’s not a requirement. Just makes it easier when dishing it out later.
➡ Heat for about 10 minutes, stirring often.
It’s not exactly the most exciting or healthiest, but my kids think smoked sausage tastes like hotdogs, love broccoli, and cheese sauces, so this is something they go to town on. You can put it over pasta, if desired. I usually do it with either angel hair or fettuccine noodles.
