Thursday Thirteen - 13th Edition
This post is a follow-up to the one I did earlier. Once again, not suitable, completely, for little eyes.
And I’d like to state that I’m not some sort of freak. Body is just all happy and excited to not be on birth control that all things sex-related has me jittery,

I'm a 26 year-old female living in Kansas with my husband and our two kids. The purpose of this blog is more of a release of all things, but I do have a couple of other blogs for other endeavors.

Oh heavens yes. No pill = return of the libido. I just want a guy with some confidence and who knows what he wants and how. *sigh*
Zanthera’s last blog post..Somewhat still clueless
@ Zanthera :: Josh and I both are still so clueless on what we want and how to go about it, hence the books ;)
). The IUD is supposed to be much better, since it’s such a small dose and it’s constant, so my own body does the regulating of everything.
Sadly, I’ll be going back on hormonal birth control in May, but it’ll be the patch for a bit, unless I can get the Mirena IUD inserted at that appointment (doubtful though
Well IUD here up north works like this:
1. See doctor if it is right for you
2. Get prescription to pharmacy and buy it for around 200$
3. Get appointment with gyne in special (not always) clinic with big camera/microscope. That usually takes about 2 months.
4. Forever have this little string hanging out of you. Looks like a thread of a wire.
I think about it but not sure after seeing so many women come by to get it removed for other procedures and PID. I learned so much in my 4 months working in the gyne clinic.

I think we’re a bit luckier in that case here in the States. As far as I know, I don’t have to go to the pharmacy to get it, because our doctors’ offices have it. At least that’s what I’ve been told (since one friend had it done in-office, same day).
And it’s not forever
It only lasts five years, and then, at that time, we’ll make the final decision of permanent or one more. Most likely it’ll be “Ethan’s our last, let’s go permanent”, and then I’ll be really happy
