Thursday Thirteen - 11th Edition

Thursday Thirteen - Reasons I Love My Life
Thirteen Reasons I Love My Life
I’m in dire need of a pick-me-up, and this is my way of doing it.

  • The love of my husband/lover, Josh
He’s my rock, and he’s my life. Without him, I wouldn’t be where I am
  • My gorgeous babies
They might drive me insane, but I adore every second I get to spend with them.
  • My family
Mom, Dad, Megan, Daniel, Mark, Jesse, Jamie, everyone that is a part of my family, does their part in some way to keep me sane. I need them, and treasure having them in my life.
  • My awesome and amazing friends make life bearable
  • My new blogging buddies
I love the friends that I’m making while reading and responding to blog entries, and now, in some cases, e-mailing back and forth. I love having more mommy contact, and honestly, it’s not just mommies I enjoy talking to. It’s all of the ones who respond on my blog, and I respond on theirs. I love the interaction
  • The fact that I get to be a SAHM.
Sometimes I wish I had more adult interaction, but I absolutely love the ability I have to be with my kids, help them learn, and have such a large impact on their lives. While I do plan on going back to work, I won’t be doing it anytime soon.
  • My laptop
Yeah, sounds prideful, but honestly, I’m able to spend more time with my family not having to constantly worry about the computer dying. And now Josh and I fight less about who gets the computer, because we both have our own now. )
  • My vehicle
I absolutely hated driving the car, and now, even with gas prices outrageously high, it’s nice to have something that I feel safe driving.
  • Lack of state assistance
Up until about September of 2007, we were on state assistance. We can proudly say that now we’re not, and really don’t need to be.
  • I’m no longer on birth control
While I’m most likely going to be going back on it in some form in May, I’m happy that I’m not on it right now. Yeah, body’s not liking it because it now has to regulate everything itself, it’s a relief!
  • My health
I might not be the healthiest thing on the planet, but I’m mostly healthy, and happy. )
  • Savings
We finally have monies in savings. It’s such a relief to have that.
  • Finally getting ahead
While we have debt, it’s manageable, and we can finally look to the future. It’s such a relief!

@ Sandy » Thanks, hon. It made me happy to be where I’m at, which at times, I’m not always.
Definitely gave me a recharge. Hopefully spring is coming soon. )
