Saturday Photo Hunt – Free
This week’s theme is FREE. I wasn’t 100% sure how to take it, so I took it my way

Courtesy of constipation, Ethan isn’t “free” to poop when he wants. He’s pretty much dictated to do it when we give him his enema. Poor little mite
Here he is hugging the wall. Daddy has to do it, because I don’t have the strength to hold him down to give it to him.

Courtesy of my parents, Madison is “free” to play on her computer. It’s a ClickStart from the creators of the LeapPad products. Madison absolutely loves it!! She’s too freaking smart for it though

Courtesy of my husband, I am now “free” to blog on the go. I can also, courtesy of a “free” notepad from HP, list plenty of ideas for future blogging. *dances*

… and that’s the good thing about the hunt, you are free to interpret the theme any way you want =)

tnchick :: I think that’s what I love most about Photohunt, is the freedom to interpret any way you’d like

You made it your own…just like the rest of us.
poor little fella. I am sure you have tried everything, but I wanted to meantion Benefiber. My neices have to have it stirred into their milk (they can taste it) and it really helps them.
I’m sorry your son suffers from constipation.
hugs!

Corey :: Thanks

Unfortunately, his fiber content is right where it needs to be, according to his doctor. He’s a great eater. He’s had the problem since birth, and his dad and his (my son) uncle both had the same problem when they were younger.
But thanks for the suggestion.

Utah Mommy :: I never thought of that,
. Yeah, I guess they are
Liza :: I love the ClickStart. My daughter loves it as well. Nice thing, also, is that the price fo the extra games for it is nothing compared to the prices for other similar systems. For her 5th birthday (June), we plan on getting her the handheld version, so she can have it for trips, to keep her entertained

Such sweet kiddo photos! I’m sorry Ethan has pooping problems. My youngest does too, and she is a great eater — gets plenty of fiber. I have to kind of keep an eye on her as she — at 10 — still periodically does Coke-can size poops (too much information?).
We had to take her to the hospital once with an impaction and the doc was able to set her right at the time with a … um … digital poop removal process and then enemas. I had to do that for her myself once after that. Thank God for rubber gloves. *gagging* Greater love has no mom than one with a low gag reflex who snaps on a glove and goes prospecting to relieve the kiddo’s pain (the doc had shown me how to do it,”just in case”
. My husband was entirely too grossed out, lol.
She’s improved as she’s gotten older, though. GOOD LUCK!

Carolyn :: We’ve gotten lucky. He hasn’t needed to go the hospital, though he did get close once or twice. His are the size of adult fists, which on his little frame, that’s HUGE.
My gag reflex, besides my lack of strength, is another reason he does the enemas on Ethan. Plus, it’s a “bonding” experience since Daddy had to have the same done with him, so their kindred spirits in that.

That poor little guy! I couldn’t have done that either.

Andrée :: He’s my little trooper. He’s tolerated so much. Born with a huge dent in the top of his foot because he had his foot caught between my ribs (still has a discoloration on his foot because of that), then he’s constantly constipated, and getting in trouble because he stands up for himself and his big sister tells on him,
.

Oh, the poor little guy! I remember those days with our little man so well. I NEVER would have thought of this for the theme for free. lol That’s some free-thinking you’ve got going on.

ByrningBunny :: I wanted to be unique, and fun with it, and I’m hoping I succeeded. I hate the idea of following a pack if I can go a different route and still get where I need to go

Very different choices for free – LOL!
Poor wee Ethan, I feel for him!

@ Dragonstar :: I’m the queen of different, or so that’s what I claim. I hate doing the same old thing over and over.
He’s feeling a lot better now. He’s all relaxed. A big problem is that it’s so cold outside, and he can’t go out and play, which is a big help with him.
