Writing in All Caps

I’m sick and tired of seeing people who posts responses and posts, and the like,, in all caps.

Are they that lazy that they can’t use a shift button?
Are they that blind, and lazy, that they can’t just change their font size?

Then There Are The Ones Who Type Like This.
Or ThEy TyPe LiKe ThIs.

Gah!!

There should be an intelligence exam before you’re able to log onto the internet. I don’t mean book smarts, because I know a few with developmental delays that are more intelligent than some of the people I’ve met on the internet.

Seriously. Especially given that its a writing medium, you should be able to write things out in real words.

sawcat :: I’m seeing it more and more in CafeMom posts, and now it’s trailing to e-mails. *gah* I hate, hate, hate people who refuse to type write.

that is a huge pet peeve of mine, not so much teh all caps, even though it is annoying, but the caps and non caps, really bugs me! Or the people who don’t spell out a whole word correctly for the entire post, I mean I do it occasionally, but really not that much!

BTW.. I totally adore your new template, it’s really pretty )

Chica :: Oh, man, the non-words are driving me insane as well. “U” instead of you, and all those related shortenings. *grumble*

I know! I’m guessing the reason it isn’t a standard log on feature is that it would put MySpace ( and etc.)out of business!

bluepaintred :: Maybe if they did, I wouldn’t have to deal with so many people adding me just for the sake of adding, especially spam artists.

    mmmmmmm spam

LOL - right now, or maybe forever and I have only noticed now, when I go to my gmail account and open spam, Google offers spam recipes. (this amuses me) (though..not enough to go buy spam and make spam fried eggs)

Isn’t this a Wordpress blog? have you tried the askimit plugin? It has stopped almost 400 spam comments on BPR since January!

bluepaintred :: I’ve noticed the recipes. Maybe if I lived in Hawaii, since that’s like the state food, I’d be more willing to try them, lol . I am about ready to try some with hamburger and see if its the same, though ;)

Oh, I didn’t mean this blog, XD. I was meaning with MySpace. I have one because of my sister and brother (they live 8 hours away), and I have the settings up pretty high just to keep the maroons from adding me. Akismet works amazing on this. It’s the only spam protection I have, and it’s only failed twice, I think, since I activated it a year ago, unlike SpamKarma and BadBehaviour combined.
