Best Money Spent

I spend a nice sum of cash for a series of themes from Katy at Kiss My Code. I shelled out $220 for 9 custom done themes. To me, it’s money so well spent. This current theme (new one just uploaded) makes it all worth it.

For March I’m getting a St. Patrick’s Day theme. It’s a big deal in this house, because our son, Ethan, was born March 17, 2005. We go big for St. Patrick’s Day because he’s our lucky baby. He was a surprise from the get-go, and we definitely celebrate it. I’d nearly lost him before we even knew about him, because some asshole slammed into us from behind. I bled for 4 days afterwards, and just thought it was a regular period (a week and a half early), but when I missed 5 weeks later, we knew, and then realized that there was a good chance that E most likely would have been a twin, and while we were sad that I might have actually lost a baby, we were relieved to know that there wouldn’t be three diaper kiddos at once (since Madi was only 21 months when Ethan was born,).

The other themes will be as follows:
April & May: Spring
June: Summer
July: 4th of July
August: Summer
September: Summer
October: Halloween
November: Thanksgiving/Fall
December: Christmas
January: Winter

Pretty nice and sweet deal, wouldn’t you say? So, if you’re on the hunt for cute, unique, whatever themes (HTML or WP, or whatever), check out Kiss My Code, where Katy and Mindy will do their best to satisy your desires!

Wireless Networking Problems

Question/Problem: When I hook up my wireless router, my PC no longer connects, but the Wii can, without a problem

Operating System and VERSION: PC: Windows XP SP2, and then whatevers on the Wii

Web Browser and VERSION: Firefox for the PC, Opera for the Wii

Your level of experience: Seasoned with certain things, beginner with routers

Duration of problem: It’s been happening for awhile. My ISP (Cox) says it’s not them, but since I can connect with at least one internet-capable machine, I’m inclined to believe. It worked for awhile, but then stopped, and then would again, and then stopped again. We usually have to keep the router disconnected most of the time.

Any steps you’ve taken to troubleshoot? I’m not sure of which I can take. I’ve tried it with the router on, but the Wii off, and still have nothing. It’s already password-protected and all that good stuff.

I’m not sure if this info matters:
We’re not sure if it’s the computer (it’s slowly dying a painful death). We’re purchasing a laptop as soon as tax return comes in (should be by the end of the week), and we’re hoping that both of us can get on the computers at the same time. We’re purchasing a new tower in a few months (laptop is a priority, since I’m going to be going out of town, and still want to be in better contact than just phone with my husband).

I don’t understand it

What is the deal with all the hate on the Giants. Every other blog I read, it’s saying that the Patriots were robbed and some related shit. It’s ridiculous.

The Giants played better. They worked as a team, and adjusted their game plan according to the Patriots and how they played. The Patriots? Same thing over and over.

It was an amazing game to play. The little cocky bastards walked-off with their tails between their legs. Their coach abandoned them. They were almost guaranteed a win, and they handed said win right to the Giants.

I’m not saying the Giants didn’t deserve that win, because trust me, they did. They gave the Patriots a run for the money in the last game of the season, and they did again in the Superbowl. They couldn’t get away with their head games in this game like they could the last.

So, Tom Shady and Bill Bellicheat, suck it up, go cry to mama, and learn for next year: CHEATERS NEVER WIN!
